5 of us arrived promptly for our reservation at 1830. Drinks took a while but we were chatting and it was fine, the young waitress was very polite. I'd like to say we were not informed of delays at this point. The main courses were served at 2000 which means we had been waiting for a considerable amount of time. I also appreciate it was a Friday but the restaurant was only half full. My food (pasta) was served in a cold bowl and was tepid at best. I sent it back. About 4 min later the exact same plate of food was returned to me, this time hot. This tells me it was either microwaved or put into the pizza oven. No apology was given to me instead a male friend at the table was spoken to by the manager. The evening ended by us leaving the restaurant as soon as we were done and going elsewhere for coffee and desert. I emailed the customer service team and had an initial response but nothing further after 5 days. The restaurant itself is looking very tired and shabby in places like scuffed tables and burst seat cushions on the chair. Very much recommend that you don't bother

Wonderful lunch! My husband and I went for the first time on 11th February and had a starter, main course and dessert as well as wine. We really enjoyed ourselves. The restaurant is spacious, clean and convivial. The food was served hot and was absolutely delicious. The menu was varied and the service was astounding! The two waiters that were there were so friendly and made us feel so welcome. They were super efficient, attentive, had a great sense of humour and truly made us feel very special. We will definitely go back!Vegetarian options: As Pesco vegetarians, I opted for the crab and lobster ravioli which was delicious and my husband went for the sea bass. Both were exquisite.

A very pleasant evening here having dinner with my significant other, we were well looked after by attentive staff. The food was brilliant, if anything we just wish we could have had bigger portions, it was that tasty! We'll happily vist again soon!

The restaurant lacks in atmosphere but the staff were extremely friendly. The gluten-free options were impressive but the regular pizza my companion had was dreadful! For an Italian restaurant the pizza was shameful & when commented on there was no constructive response.Dietary restrictions: A good selection of gluten-free options.

The staff were very attentive and friendly. The pizza not so good. If you like your pizza dry with no topping around the outer 3cms then this is the place for you. We have visited Prezzo restaurants before, though not in the last few years, and not this one in Chippenham. On the basis of this visit, we won’t be returning. Like most restaurants, prices have gone up noticeably in recent times. At Prezzo, judging from this visit, portion sizes have gone down. The food quality was satisfactory, but my serving of mushroom and celeriac risotto barely covered the bottom of the dish. I have a pretty average appetite, but this was little more than starter-size. On the plus side of things, the staff seemed friendly and welcoming. The general ambience, though, was more like a smart cafe than a restaurant (unlike other Prezzo restaurants we’ve visited).
