Maryport St, DevizesPopped in for a Sunday roast. They do a beef or chicken (or veggie) Yorkie wrap, which is a roast dinner wrapped in a Yorkshire pudding... delicious and really good value. Good selection of beers and friendly staff. Highly recommended.

The Lamb Inn
The Green, Urchfont, DevizesWe recently had a group party in the skittle alley at the lamb and Kevin and Julie prepared one of the best buffets we've ever seen.
It was truly great value and exceptional quality. We live locally and know the pub well but the effort that went into the food combined with the great hospitality, made for a great night.

The touches they did to make my daughter’s birthday special did not go unnoticed and we appreciate it so much. The staff were friendly and helpful.
There is a large selection of dishes to choose from on the menu.
I was particularly impressed with the Thai Katsu curry it was delicious. That was a good quantity of meat within the meal.

The only thing stopping me rating higher is the amount of kebab meat you get isn't much for the price and my partners 12 inch pizza looked smaller than a normal 12inch from other places but apart from that the quality and taste Is the best I've had in a while.

We receive outstanding service and meal. ALL the staff were perfectly attentive there was nothing we wanted for.
The food was very good, the only slight issue was the steak? I asked for medium which was a little under done, however this could be down to my preference, next time (and there will be a next time) I’ll ask for medium well done!

Bath Rd, DevizesSo we whent here after minety but the red lion was closed ? so we whant here and we had the dog with us and dogs are allowed with was great and when we whent in it was like 1600s style lemonade AMAZING waitress HOT wich is always the best thing about a pub/restaurant ordered a burger and it was one of the best burgers I have ever had and the ice cream ?

The Locks, DevizesThis is a great little place and it's all good! One of the previous reviews giving it 1 star by McF was totally unfair. You rated the place without going in it so how can you rate the food(really good btw) atmosphere(great) and the service (brilliant) also trying to place blame on them for the muddy path and parking is also not fair. Reviews like that are shameful. These small businesses operate on extremely small margins. To the staff I say well done. To McF don't come back and perhaps stay at home so the rest of us can enjoy these establishments without your unhelpful comments.

I popped in for one pint but stayed for three,mainly as I was trying to work out if the two good looking barmaids simply had nothing to say to each other or didn’t get on.One was quiet and the other chatty to the customers.Each time the other served a customer the other gave a sideward glance and didn’t utter a word to each other during the hour I was in there.
All in all the best pub I went in during my two day stay and recommend the pub to you.

Such a shame as it’s such a beautiful pub

11 The Market Pl, DevizesUsed this place recently twice now in the last few days, im currently classed as homeless but not on the streets after fleeing domestic violence. Went in today with limited funds but they gave me extra chips and a curry sauce on them. The guy who served me Mahet? Was very welcoming and friendly and remembered me and he was very understanding of my situation. The food was amazing and the best place for chips. I would deffo recommend and will deffo be going back. Thank you Market Plaice!!!

St.John's St, DevizesI had one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time at The Silk Mercer. Perfectly cooked, juicy, and packed with flavour — everything from the bun to the toppings was spot on. You can tell real care has gone into both the quality of the ingredients and the presentation. The atmosphere is relaxed but stylish, and the service was warm and attentive. Definitely worth a visit if you’re after a proper burger done right!

He was very friendly and welcoming (we are from out of town). We got exactly what we ordered. The seating area was clean. After we ordered, a large rugby team arrived, and we watched as the one staff member patiently took their orders and made at least fifteen sandwiches. If you want a quick, reliable, and satisfying sandwich, and maybe even some friendly conversation, check out this Subway.

40 St.John's St, DevizesWe went for lunch on Saturday, didn’t book and had space for a group of 3. They have a great lunch menu that’s really affordable and loads of choice, hot meals, ciabatta’s etc. staff are all extremely friendly and we got a table overlooking the kitchen which I love! Food was delicious as well. Steak ciabatta cooked to perfection.
