“Despite the need for a bit of a tidy up and some fresh paint, the Crown Inn provides delicious food and a comfortable dining area. We booked the day before, as we were travelling back from Stroud, to the New Forest, so we wanted to stop off in Devizes for Sunday lunch. The Crown Inn did not disappoint. We selected the ‘small roast’ and it was plenty large enough for us. It was delicious and very reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We’d definitely recommend a visit if you’re in the area.”

“From the moment we walked in the staff were very friendly and welcoming. 3 of us ordered the vegetarian wellington and was advised it would take 45 mins . The starters were spot on ,we had garlic bread with cheese and the mushroom which were delicious. In regards to the mains I would rather wait for it to be cooked to order than food that is just reheated . I must say it was worth the wait ! Well the deserts ! We had a mixture of creme brulé , sticky toffee pudding and the cheesecake, generous portions and very tasty. Overall we will be back not only for the food but to give their lovely dogs a cuddle!Vegetarian options: Best vegetarian meal out in a long while !”

“Found this gem of a pub while on the Imber bus day and enjoyed a fab lunchtime. Some very decent ales along with great food, we had the steak and ale pie, cottage pie and ham, eggs and chips, all homemade and were absolutely brilliant. Staff were friendly and despite being busy the service was excellent. See you next year hopefully!”
