Maryport St, DevizesPopped in for a Sunday roast. They do a beef or chicken (or veggie) Yorkie wrap, which is a roast dinner wrapped in a Yorkshire pudding... delicious and really good value. Good selection of beers and friendly staff. Highly recommended.

The touches they did to make my daughter’s birthday special did not go unnoticed and we appreciate it so much. Visited for Valentine’s Day and an amazing visit. Food was spot on, full of flavour, great quality and great portion sizes. Service was great, sat down at 6pm and had our starters and mains on the table by 6:45 - despite previous reviews experiencing slow service, I think they’ve heard your concerns and have really improved!
Overall - I’d always recommend a visit here and highly recommend the Pad Thai and Thai Green/Red Curry.

The only thing stopping me rating higher is the amount of kebab meat you get isn't much for the price and my partners 12 inch pizza looked smaller than a normal 12inch from other places but apart from that the quality and taste Is the best I've had in a while.

We receive outstanding service and meal. ALL the staff were perfectly attentive there was nothing we wanted for.
The food was very good, the only slight issue was the steak? I asked for medium which was a little under done, however this could be down to my preference, next time (and there will be a next time) I’ll ask for medium well done!

The Locks, DevizesThis is a great little place and it's all good! One of the previous reviews giving it 1 star by McF was totally unfair. You rated the place without going in it so how can you rate the food(really good btw) atmosphere(great) and the service (brilliant) also trying to place blame on them for the muddy path and parking is also not fair. Reviews like that are shameful. These small businesses operate on extremely small margins. To the staff I say well done. To McF don't come back and perhaps stay at home so the rest of us can enjoy these establishments without your unhelpful comments.

Very dog friendly, lovely garden and the locals are super friendly. The roast lamb and ham, egg & chips were particularly good. Lovely walks up to Salisbury Plain and the surrounding countryside directly from the pub Highly recommend!

9 Estcourt St, DevizesI've now been attending the British Lion for just over four years. It is one of my favourite pubs in Wiltshire. Staff are friendly, Mike knows his Ales and there is always a good selection rotating through the four pumps.
This is a drinkers pub, a place to go to read or converse with your friends and family. No blaring sports and distracting screens, no casino machines or food, just bar snacks. The prices for pints are more reasonable here than any other pub I've ever been to.
The beer garden is massive and well maintained. Make sure you attend Black Rat Monday every August Bank Holiday Monday. Live music, charity BBQ and great drinks.
The 49 Stagecoach bus from Trowbridge to Swindon is a short walk away, parking can be slightly tricky in that part of town.
The only downside is no dogs allowed but service dogs.

The White Bear
34 Monday Market St, DevizesThe lads and I stayed at the White Bear after a long and gruelling cycle from Reading. The land lady was extremely accommodating and friendly on our arrival and showed us to a space to store our bikes. They made us feel very welcome and at home. The rooms were rustic and cozy, given this is the oldest pub in Devizes, likely with the original flooring, bed comfy and high level of cleanliness. Phenomenal shower with great water pressure. The full english breakfast hit the spot and set us up well for our next day of cycling. The pints were cheap and flowed, offering ales from the local brewery, it is also featured in the Good Beer guide. I would highly recommend staying or visiting the White Bear.

I’ve eaten here many times, yet it somehow still feels like a treat every single visit. There’s also a great crowd—friendly, relaxed, and part of what makes the whole experience that bit more special.

You can tell real care has gone into both the quality of the ingredients and the presentation. The atmosphere is relaxed but stylish, and the service was warm and attentive. He was very friendly and welcoming (we are from out of town). We got exactly what we ordered. The seating area was clean. After we ordered, a large rugby team arrived, and we watched as the one staff member patiently took their orders and made at least fifteen sandwiches. If you want a quick, reliable, and satisfying sandwich, and maybe even some friendly conversation, check out this Subway.

They have a great lunch menu that’s really affordable and loads of choice, hot meals, ciabatta’s etc. staff are all extremely friendly and we got a table overlooking the kitchen which I love!
