Visited with friends and wow, great food !! An ever changing menu, my friend we were visiting was here the week or so prior and the menu had changed. I like that. Reflective of a good chef and changing constantly to stop becoming a stale menu. I had the curried cod with saag alou and it was immense. Some of the best pub food I’ve had in a long long time. The service was attentive, friendly and professional. Dylan in particular made us feel very welcome. The food was top quality restaurant food - I’m already planning a return visit. I would unreservedly recommend this pub and their great food and service.
We visited the Black Swan in October for lunch one Saturday afternoon. The food was amazing and it was such a brilliant experience for my husband and I. A meal we still talk about. The menu was amazing and there was so much choice. It was hard to decide what to have. We started with muscles, followed by slow roasted beef, mash and chargrilled hispi cabbage.
