Good Sunday lunch. Fairly standard pub fare. Hospitable service. Good desserts.

Had a wonderful meal here, felt very welcomed and there was a lovely fireplace creating heat too. The food was exceptional, I had a home made pie and the home made gravy was something else. I would highly recommend this pub, it's a real great place.

Driven past many times and finally tried eating here. It was really good. We were a large group too and there was no issue with quality.

I had to rely on previous reviews to decide where to meet relatives for a meal before a walk around Malmesbury. The Sunday menu was more varied than a few of the other eating places around, really good value for money, we all had different roasts ( including vegetarian) and they were all great. I'd thoroughly recommend it to others.Jeanfrom Wiltshire

Great roast dinner, efficient friendly service, warm fires and friendly locals.... nothing not too like - although a cask ale would have made it perfect + 1 !!Food & drinks: Food freshly prepared, served with a smile and great tasting

We only met for a meal, not a stay, as a central location for a group of cousins. We chose here rather than our previous venue because we wanted a wider selection than just Sunday roasts, so naturally we nearly all had roasts. Best roast beef I've had in years, beautifully cooked, as were the other meals. Friendly and efficient service, a delightful ambience, and very easy to get to, so I'm sure we'll be back

Can't comment on the rooms as we just had sunday roast. Service waa great, very friendly and coped with all the food questions one of ua had. The roast was wonderful, lovely slow cooked lamb, plenty of roasties, veg and gravy. Will be coming again and try to leave room for pudding next time.

Delicious and good value Sunday lunch with a choice of beef, lamb, pork, chicken and meat-free options. Generous portions with roast potatoes, tasty Yorkshire puddings and stuffing balls, mixed vegetables on the side and a jug of their epic gravy. There's a choice of puddings, if you still have any space left after all this.

For £15 this was exceptionally good for Sunday lunch. A good helping of tasty meat, crackling, big Yorkshire pudding, roasts potatoes, roast parsnips, stuffing, apple sauce and a big bowl of veg between the two of us. All beautifully fresh and cooked to perfection. Somehow managed a fruit crumble with custard which was equally good. Nicely set out inside with tables not on top of each other. Very friendly and efficient service. One of the best pub Sunday lunches in a long time and I just felt t was fair on them to come home and write this straight away. I will be back there!
