Stopped for a quick lunch and enjoyed a lovely shared pizza with great wine & coffee. The waitress was delightful and really friendly. A superb place to eat for lunch & dinner as well decorated with cosy romantic booths on the lower floor.

I’ve ordered here a few times now and I must say I’m always disappointed. The spicy vegetarian pizza and the vegetarian one with pesto and rocket are both covered in oil, to the point that it soaks through to the base and ruins the pizza.The level of topping varies depending on the visit.service is exceptional.Vegetarian options: Reasonable range

Great place and food. We had an emergency and a lovely lady there dealt with it very professionally and called an ambulance. Also super important for me, the toilets are spotless!! Thank

We popped in to The Birdcage today, and despite being very busy, a very polite young gentleman managed to find us a table with space for a high chair. The staff were clearly busy with a big group but were still attentive and checked on us several times. The food was superb and arrived quickly despite the large tables. I had the Christmas special pizza on a gluten free base - this has to be one of the best gluten free pizzas I’ve ever had (and I’ve sampled many)! We will be back! Thank you to The Birdcage for a wonderful lunch.
The food was absolutely excellent and the environment beautiful. However the two girls serving were unfriendly and spent most of their time gossiping and chatting rather than being attentive to the customers. Our food was literally dumped in front of us. So disappointing but we will not be returning.

The atmosphere and the staff are great in this place. The food is okay, it just needs a bit of tweaking to make the whole experience fantastic. Such as using meatballs which aren’t super processed tasting or swapping out raw onions in a salad to something like avocado or mozzarella.I really like how each menu item is named after a local place or thing to do with Malmesbury.

Lovely little restaurant situated in the middle of the town, friendly staff and great food, the only slight negative was the service time, seemed to sit around and wait quite a bit fir the food to turn up, good job it wasn't busy.Would definitely go back again.
