Average place ...we had a pot of tea and a brownie...

Pleasant coffee shop in busy market town with plenty of competition.

We ride to this cafe from Swindon, and they are always so helpful. The food is amazing and done to order, and we like the fact that they do a top-up for a £1. It's a lovely family run cafe too.

Nice little coffee shop but little restricted on food options and didn't serve chips as extra and the panini and no crisps either. Which for a sit in meal was surprising. The price was OK for a basic panini. The white hot chocolate I recommend but again a small cup and needed another drink within first 10 mins.

Really lovely little cafe with a warm, friendly atmosphere. Made to feel very welcome and will definitely come back next time we're in Marlborough. Perfect coffee and panni.

I support independent establishments…. But sadly after three visits here it’s decided we won’t be revisiting. Our experience was not great. Cold eating area, I had my coat on my lap to warm my legs. Thick dust on the display of photographs for sale. My partners coffee was lukewarm on arrival. His breakfast-poached eggs with toast, paid extra for sausage and beans at £2 a pop each. The sausage was just about lukewarm, his beans were not. They were cold. £2, for a small ramekin of cold baked beans will never encourage a re visit. I had eggs royale, which came without the most important part….. it had no salmon. I went to the counter and this was rectified. But it shouldn’t have to be eh? It ought be there when it leaves the kitchen. My partner didn’t want to complain about his cold breakfast, as he stated, If you have to tell them they’re serving cold food, they really don’t care too much about what they bring out…. We just won’t come back again. So that’s it’s done for us here I’m afraid.

Stumbled on this welcoming cafe at the end of the high street. Excellent service, delicious salad for lunch Totally delightful ?

Full English breakfast. £13 for almost nothing! Much better food and prices almost anywhere else. Bacon with breakfast hard as nails . Not just well done, completely hard, like eating gravel!

This is an exceptional cafe on Marlborough high street. It is an oasis for lunch during Summer School. The choice of freshly made sandwiches and coffees is excellent and the only decision is what to choose from the wide array. I’ve come here was 5 consecutive lunches every week for the last 8 years. The quality of the food and the prompt service even on a busy lunchtime makes the Food Gallery for No 1 choice. Well done, and I look forward to coming back next year ?

Liked: Charming venue, pleasant and efficient staff, nice location Not so much: The English Breakfast I ordered was over-priced for what it was. £12.50 (or thereabouts) for a small plate of toast, a tiny ramakin of baked beans, some thin strips of crispy bacon, three quarters of a length of sausage (odd) and some cherry tomatoes. All entirely over-cooked. It took ages to arrive so my theory is that "service" was called by the chef and then it was forgotten. Hence the cold eggs with solid yokes. I might have caught them on a bad day, but given their pricing and the amount of options elsewhere in Marlborough, I won't be risking a second chance.
