“How have I not eaten here sooner, what an absolute delight… Walked in without booking, the restaurant was busy but they found us a table quickly.

The evening menu was small but I like that, sometimes you can be given too much choice but adding to the main menu was a selection of specials which again, I do like to see…

Bread and water was brought to the table, a small touch but can’t think of another restaurant in Melksham offering this and it’s a nice touch.

Garlic Bread and the nicest Olives we’ve had in ages was our starter of choice, for main I had a chicken burger with potato wedges that came served with a pot of warm BBQ Sauce that was just amazing and my partner opted for the Chicken Caesar salad (we went for curry the night before).

I’m not normally a dessert person but spotted the tiramisu option and had to give it a try - again, outstanding and left me looking forward to our next visit before we finished this one…

“We recently held a wake here and from start to finish the staff made a difficult time stress free. The communication was excellent with regular phone calls and emails to make sure we were happy with the arrangements. The buffet was fantastic and value for money. Other venues hiked the price when we said it was for a funeral but The pilot kept to their pricing package. (And accommodated our needs) We highly recommend this venue. Good parking facilities, amazing, friendly staff, lovely food, great drink range and price and a very clean environment. Thank you to everyone that works here. Kind regards The Walker family.”

“Lovely cafe, no car park but there is one just a short walk away that's free for 2 hours. Good choice of cafe type food at reasonable prices for the area. All on the ground floor including the toilet. We have been here a few times and never been disappointed with the food.”

“The Roast Hut & More have just catered for a 60th anniversary party . Not only was the food great value for money, the service from start to finish was professional friendly and accommodating.
