Got charged extra for medium roast coffee.Dark roast was free.was not given a choice.I would have thought a dark roast would have cost more to roast or am I just being cynical.Terrible customer service. No justification for the extra charge and no price of this displayed anywhere.Obviously we won’t be visiting here again and would advise anyone else to steer clear of this place.

Went in twice on Saturday 9th December and the service was terrible on both times. 1st time was around 11am was waiting in line to be served for about 20 mins or so then 5 mins waiting for my coffee to be made. The second time was a 10 min wait to be served at the till with 2 members of staff on. Normally any other coffee#1 shops are pretty good but not this one. Won’t be going back in a rush

Good place to meet up with friends for a lovely coffee.

Hey, manager of Salisbury branch, it really wasn’t cool to conduct a staff appraisal in a loud voice to a poor girl in tears, at the table right next to the entire queue of people buying coffee. Terrible management skills, insensitive, cruel and unnecessary. Surely you have somewhere private you could have done that? It was excruciating.

The floors, tables and even the chairs were filthy, covered in drinks spills and remnants of food. There were cups and plates all piled up on every empty table. I had to clean the chair and table myself, as there was no-one cleaning up after customers when they left. The queue was horrendous, due to the servers being incredibly slow, possibly because they were too busy chatting to each other. The drinks and cakes were fine, but the whole experience was utterly disgusting. Not what I'm used to with Coffee #1. The Shaftesbury store is normally my regular and is such a lovely place, I was so shocked how bad the Salisbury one was. I will not be going into the Salisbury store ever again.

Utter Shambles. None of the staff seemed to be trained on the till and there was no organisation. The only reason the queue went down was most people left. This place needs a serious shake up and a proper manager.

Fantastic service, lots of friendly staff, great selection of cakes and amazing coffee just what we needed after shopping in town!

My three year old Grandson had a great time here eating my cheese and ham toastie.

Nice coffee shop and the salted caramel slice is amazing but the staff leave much to be desired. Tables full of dirty mugs and 4 staff behind the counter talking amongst themselves, the girl that served me was texting on her phone and briefly stopped to take my order. Coffee is good but the mugs always look like they need a good scrub. 2 stars only for the coffee and cake

Dog friendly which was fab. Surprisingly lots of coffee shops declined dogs here in Salisbury.

Coffee was really strong and bitter and the carrot cake was really dry.

Excellent coffee and cake, the staff are always so friendly and a great space to relax. Service is very relaxed and not your costa or starbucks where they just want to get you in and out as quickly as they can. If a queue definitely worth the wait. I would definitely recommend the smooth roast coffee its amazing.

Very unclean, spoons dirty and empty dishes on tables. Seemed understaffed

Went in today, I always get a pick me up smoothie from coffee 1, as it’s lush ? the Barista was really friendly and chatty. I’d definitely go again ?
