Dave and Kayleigh are the new owners. I was recently given 2 x £75 vouchers for their previous pub , the Crown at Upton and I booked a meal for my birthday on 23rd Sept 23. They also told me I had to pay a £200 deposit for own of their outdoor dining units, totalling £350. They then closed the pub and moved to the Plough whilst not contacting me and owing the money. Dave is still trading as Bemyfood.ltd. When I contacted them, and challenged them with this, kayleigh informed me that it is now her business. However, she is not listed as a director on companies house so they have scammed me , a customer, out of £350. Watch your cash people!!!!!

I friend recommed thier thai food night (wednesday's) and wow, what a treat! Its a fiendly cosy village pub and the food was excellent, some of the party wanted mildly spiced others a tad hotter. We were not disappointed, the flavours came flooding through. The recommeded wine, was a sassy french number which complemented and rounded off a very good meal indeed. The landlords were very engaging with a litererally warm welcome: around the blazing log fire in the bar area. Highly recommend ...enjoy!

Stopped here with my daughter on our cycle ride to Bath. Lovely pub, food was delicious and a very friendly landlady. New owners I’m told by a local we were chatting to. We’ll be back. Recommended.

The staff were friendly but the meal was really bad: burnt, bland and also cold the veggi gravy had lumps. The meal was not cheap and there was a compulsory fixed service charge of £20 which is unusual. A very disappointing experience.

Lovely evening at the Plough, 7th of Oct. So nice to have such committed landlords, the tapas was great. Definitely be going back.
Two days after they had reopened I contacted Anne-Marie to book a family gathering. Nothing was too much for them. They even got the chef to start a day early to provide a great spread for us. Highly recommend. We will definitely be back.

Fantastic! We went for dinner at The Plough for their Wednesday evening steak night and both my husband and I were very impressed. Delicious food (with generous amounts of peppercorn sauce in a separate jug), which was so colourfully presented with very tasty roasted baby tomatoes and button mushrooms etc - this wasn’t just steak and chips! We shared a sticky toffee pudding afterwards which I would definitely recommend, The staff were very friendly and helpful and there is a lovely cosy atmosphere. I look forward to going there again.

The Plough is a great pub with a lovely relaxed atmosphere and a very welcoming owner, Alex. Highly recommended, if necessary make a detour to experience this pub.
