Fab lunch with friends today. Friendly staff and great service. There were 9 of us and we had a selection of main courses and puds from the main Menu.Parking: The car park isn't very big but people can park along the road.
Our fourth visit, meeting up with friends from Scotland. Food as ever delicious and generous servings. Good selection for everyone. A lovely fire making it warm and cosy on a wet grey winters day. Quiet with no blaring music. Will be returning next year!

There is an art to getting a pub 'right' and this is one that really does. We go infrequently living some miles away but it is always a joy to go to. It strikes that fine balance of being cosy and not artifically polished like so many pubs feel the need to do. Beer in barrels on the back shelf and an excellent menu. It's a gem with lovely staff.
