The rooms are obviously cleaned by people who know what they are doing and the odd blemish you'd find is the wear and tear any hotel will have - nothing unhygienicAs for the staff I was especially impressed by how 1. The young man who's there mostly at night finds the way to relate to any guest, including me, to the point where he's soon standing around with them as they were old mates! No.2 is the lovely young young lady who is on reception during days. She even remembered to ask after mum who she [mum] rang looking for me last time I was here several months ago for a few days & broke my phone.For business or for pleasure, the Campanile is a truly the most financially viable choice in a cos of living crisisFood & drinks: KFC, MCDONALD'S, SAINSBURY'S & MARKS AND SPENCER all in walking distance

Not great when you get to your room and find an un cleaned, or non flushed, toilet waiting for you ?Rooms are very european hostel/motel style with an interestingly sprung bed.Would I return....... The nury is out on this

Booked this hotel as a one night to have a girls night with my friend! Room a little small but didn't really matter as the bathroom was big, with a bath & shower. The room was clean as well which is always good. We paid for breakfast when we checked in foe the next morning, excited for it, but it was disappointing and not worth the £10 each we paid. I understand it's a buffet but the hot food was cold, not many sauces on offer, tea bags aren't very nice and there just isn't a lot of food options either. They do have some gluten free options however, which is great! Overall I'd recommend staying here but not buying the breakfast - there's other options a 5 minute walk away. Staff very friendly and approachable though, they were perfect!

What a grotty dump this is. Toilets not working, cold in reception, dirty, middle of no where, thankfully I only spent two hours there.

Very disappointed. I have make a phonecall to book this in the evening of the 11/12/23. I have made my booking and this was confirmed. I have got to the hotel and a staff member Izabella denied my entry even thou i did book this previously. All because camponile added extra charges for checking in early and every time i have booked this previously i never got charged extra. Now because of the fact i said i am not happy and want to speak to the manger and will write a bad review. Izabella refused to let me check in as i did explain i was working a night shift the night beforehand and would need a room from 7am to 6pm to recover from my night shift. She expected me to wait for 1-2 hours in the waiting room for the manager as i said i had an issue with prices suddenly increasing whereas previously it was fine. I ended up having to book elsewhere. Very disappointed with the service as she was rude and will never book in that hotel again. Previously when i booked a room another occasion there was no heating at all. When i enquired this the hotel said they was fully booked but will mention this to the manager. Best to avoid save money book elsewhere. If they can treat me unfair they can certainly treat others unfair too.

The hotel is absolutely freezing but the food is good but not enough staff on duty to book in for evening meals and serve

It was freezing cold in the restaurant and the organisation was chaotic. Coffee machines but no cups! Not enough staff so long waits for everything.Food & drinks: Bar and restaurant freezing
