We have eaten at Mario's Twice, and both times have been exceptional. The atmosphere is perfect for couples with a downstairs area built for being close to your date. The staff are incredible and lovely to chat to throughout your dinner, and they make you feel welcome all the time. We would definitely come back again!

Greek Olive

Me and my wife usually get a take out gyros, but always wanted to sit down for dinner. We had such a lovely meal, with taramasalata that was just so creamy, with feta and honey filo parcel for starters. Mains were delicious, with some of the best chips I've had in a while. Walking back to the car was a bit of a mission on a full stomach, but we absolutely loved it. Couldn't even look at the free pudding they offered us - the wife tried to be fair! Attentive staff, and just a really good atmosphere. Thank you for a lovely evening!

We held my Mothers 80th Birthday meal here and had the most amazing evening. There were 18 of us and we had the best time with wonderful food, drinks and Gianni and his wonderful team providing the perfect atmosphere. Absolutely perfect. The Jewel in the Crown

I couldn't imagine ever having a better experience than i did tonight. The food was heavenly and everything was perfectly cooked. What stood out most apart from the food was how nice the staff were there. Everyone was smiling and happy to have a joke or two but also very open to us. I will be visiting a lot more now appose to having takeaways due to this hospitality matching the amazing food!

Ruchi Indian Restaurant

Thanks to all at Ruchi for a great meal and excellent service. Today is my wife's birthday so I treated her to dinner at her choice of restaurant and she picked Ruchi as we haven't been for a while. We arrived at around 5:15 so it was fairly quiet and plenty of tables. The staff were polite and friendly and service was fast. we both opted for Chicken tikka starters and enjoyed them very much. I had chicken tikka biryani and my wife chose chicken tikka pasanda with mushroom rice. everything arrived quickly, was well cooked and hot on arrival. The food was very well presented and very tasty. Chicken tikka biryani is my go-to curry I have had it many times in many places and I have to say this was the best I have had in a long time. We both really enjoyed our meal and can't wait to go back for more.

Da Vinci Restaurant (Swindon)

My partner and I went last night, a spontaneous visit turned out to be a great restaurant and undoubtedly the best in Swindon. It's a bit on the pricey side but for what you get, worth every penny!Unlike other restaurants, this menu has too much choice! I'd highly recommend this place.

Rios Brazil

The food was superb, staff couldn't be more helpful. Our first meal like this and we will definitely be returning customers. The buffet and meats are perfectly cooked, plenty of choice.

Poppins Restaurant Swindon

Best place in Swindon for a breakfast! You can tell how good they are as it’s always busy, the staff are ever so helpful and efficient and very polite and friendly and they serve great food. Me and the family have been going here for over 4 years and always enjoy our set 2 breakfast.

Wichel Inn

This is one of the best family orientated places around. The team are fantastic and really friendly. We go every couple of weeks just for a meal and to relax - the cowboy burger is a favourite in our family.

Swindon Harvester

Free flow salad comes with any mains. We had a 3 course lunch and a Harvester mix grill combo (half chicken and half ribs). I have to say, their portion is very generous.

Atmosfera Restaurant and Pizzeria

5 of us had a fantastic meal here where we ate the best seafood linguine ever! The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the staff were all charming. We came over from Bath and Wiltshire and it was well worth the trip. We will be back again soon!

Probably the best cafe for breakfast and lunch in Swindon. Great coffee, friendly and welcoming staff, easygoing and relaxed atmosphere. Good prices and excellent quality - what more could you POSSIBLY need!?

Moshan Island Grill/ Box Dinner

Really fantastic food. Very pleasant service as well. Small but comfortable upstairs restaurant above the takeaway. I had the salt cod fritters to start and the mixed grill for main, both generous portions, cooked to perfection and melt in the mouth food. My new favourite Swindon eating place. Can't wait to try the other menu items which all look amazing. Staff really friendly and accommodating. Look forward to my next visit :)

The Harvey

A great pub easily reached by foot, car, bus, and all on the flat. The staff are relaxed and kind and thoughtful and most welcoming. What's not to like.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy to enter and leave the pub.

Rose & Crown PH

This is a great pub with a very good landlord. The staff are friendly the beer is top class and food is very good. A must visit for people who love traditional English pubs.

Biplob (Swindon)

We were a little late and our reservation was pushed back 30mins without any problems. The restaurant was very busy but there was no delay in our food being served. It was a very good meal. Would definitely return.

Gurkha Swindon- Nepalese & Indian Restaurant

I have been to Gurkha twicenow, it's a really good place to enjoy both Nepalese and Indian cuisines. I had organised a party for some 15 people, they had done amazing job with the food, taste was amazing, it was presentable and had right amount of spices as we Indians prefer. We really liked the chilli chicken and fried momos. The staff and especially the owner, Suraj Bhai were so accommodating. Thank you so much. Will definitely keep visiting again and again.

Giraffe

Decent vegetarian fare and enormous portion of tasty fried pickles. Minor gripe over automated service was borked and wasn't allowing vegetarian choices so had to order at desk.

The Queens Tap

One of my favourite, favourite, favourite pubs in the whole history of the world. Great atmosphere, pool table, drinks choices, garden, fabulous manager and staff (and convenient for the station).

TASTY Chinese Takeaway

First time ordering from here and it certainly will not be the last.Food arrived much quicker than expected, was hot on arrival.Generous portions and very tasty.I had roast duck in a plum sauce which was nice and tender and the skin was cooked to perfection, my partner had mushroom chow mein which was also very tasty A+.

The Ridge (Swindon)

The food and prices are great here. Nice atmosphere and decor. They cater for celiacs which is why we go here. On this occasion the service was a little slow and the drinks order was messed up but can't fault the food which was delicious.

I travel all over the country and us shell because I have a fule card, I can honestly say this garage has the most friendly staff outstanding customer service. Well done everyone this is very rare now a days keep up the great work and thank you ????

It's a Mcdonalds , never tastes as good as it should , only the sweet curry sauce makes it worth visiting , really better ways to kill yourself with food , only makes sense if drunk or hungover ?

Designer Outlet Swindon

It is comfortable in all weathers. Varied stores for all tastes. Easy to spend 5 hours there. Beware after 5 hours of parking the cost rises dramatically. Good choices of restaurants and cafes. A good day out.

Bandido Burritos (Uno & dos - Swindon) Travellers choice award winner 2021

Incredible each time!! Can't wait to go again. If I had one thing to improve on, say, be nice if bus orders were seperate to takeaway (less wait) but then, it's only one team. So completely understandable. Food quality is too good to mess with.

Pumpkin Cafe

Lidia was lovely as always.Been using the Pumpkin cafe for years whenever I have an early start for work, she’s always happy to chat when I’m the only one sat there waiting for the next train and just brings a really positive energy to the start of my day :)Even if I have my own coffee I’m happy to get something to eat from here as it always tastes good and I just enjoy buying it from here

The Trident Fish Bar

I am a regular customer, and this place is honestly excellent! The staff are really good and polite and the food quality is fantastic! Most of the time I order Fish and Chips and they are delicious, sometimes I buy the chicken burger with the chips and their chicken sandwiches are top notch.One of the staff have excellent skills in wrapping the food box up in paper.I really recommend this place.

We were a group of four having just had a great day at Cheltenham races, we use Swindon as a base. We were recommended this restaurant and glad we listened, great service food was delightful if your in Swindon and you are looking for great Indian food then the Zaika Valley is the place for you.

Came in on Sunday for a hangover/ birthday brunch and we had such a lovely time. Massive thank you to Stephanie who was out server for the afternoon, she was so pleasant and polite and nothing was too much for her, kept our glasses full and the food was unreal, didn’t make us feel rushed or annoying when we asked for anything. She’s an asset to the business and we will definitely be back again!

Lalbagh Indian Cuisine

Excellent food. Superb service. Large family gathering, all bespoke requests sorted with ease. Food was piping hot and delicious, drinks well priced and the staff are brilliant. Cannot fault this restaurant. Some of the poor reviews here are not for the lalbagh in Swindon, for a start they do not serve beef. So check the positive reviews and book a table ! You won’t be disappointed !Kid-friendliness: Children welcome but don’t let them run around as tables are head height for little ones, same as any restaurant.

Subway

Nice quiet Subway, I'm not sure how busy it gets during peak hours but on the off they are great. Large bright sitting area and calm atmosphere. They are situated in a way you don't get the noise from the main road and is mostly peaceful except cars driving around the car park.

Costa Coffee

Continue to enjoy this as my favorite Costa, staff are always smiling and cheerful and I love the fact that they remember my usual ( clearly go here to often ?) great service and great team.

Tandoori Nights

My partner and I order from here regularly and it has become my favourite thing to order today we ordered food and it arrived so quickly. The food was super tasty as always and the young lad delivering it was nice also. Still my favourite place to eat by far!!!

Costa Coffee

They were understaffed but that's not the fault of the 2 people who did show up to work! For only being second in the queue I do think waiting nearly 15 mins for a coffee is pretty bad though. I will say their gingerbread latte is definitely my favourite seasonal drink I've tried at any coffee shop this year so I'll definitely be back.

Been wanting to visit for 27 years as I live just across the road. Finally made it & not disappointed. Lovely log fire, pleasant service & atmosphere. A bit more 'rustic' than I thought it would be but that's part of it's charm. Known for it's beers, live music & attraction of Swindon's literati & arty set.

The Cakehole

As you approach this place doesn’t look too appealing and it is usually a pain to park. Once you get over that it is well worth a visit and once you have been once I would e surprised if you didn’t return. I have sampled most things in here and have not yet been disappointed. I usually have takeaway rolls which are in wonderful bread rolls and generously filled. It is a bit small inside but you can eat in if you want and the breakfast is again generous and good value for money. The pastries are large and flavoursome and the cakes are amazing. I agree with some comments that the service can blow hot and cold depending on the staff but they are always really busy so I guess there is pressure to get people served. I love it here and recommend to everyone I speak to.

Had a £9 steak expecting it to be tiny fortunately it was not and there was not a bit of fat and gristle, the accompanying salad was also fresh and tasty. Would definitely visit again.

The Rose & Crown

After a really long walk in the local countryside today, my wife and I (along with Pippa, the pooch) called in for a drink and lunch. It was lovely, a very pleasant atmosphere of locals eating and drinking, the real log fire roaring away. Pippa was provided with treats whilst we decided from the menu. We enjoyed a wonderful prawn baguette with fries, a Brie and cranberry baguette with fries and a round of drinks. The staff were wonderful, the food gorgeous, great value for money..

The Moonrakers

We didn't eat we had a 50th party there venue and staff were lovely but the DJ was rude didn't play the music we requested. We even had a telephone call to discuss what music I would like and he only played a couple of songs, said he would take request which he didn't very very disappointing as the music was that bad people left the party .He definitely wasn't worth the £200.

T J's Cafe

Had a big breakfast at TJ’ at Marston. Food was fabulous as was the service. Pooch was very well looked after with treats. Only negative was the big breakfast beat me but the dog loved is as he got two extra sausages. Great traditional cafe, not many of them about. Def worth a visit. ????

The Pantry

Very reasonably priced little cafe, a perfect find in today's climate. Very friendly staff and lovely fresh food. A basic looking cafe but very clean, warm and inviting.

The Roaring Donkey

Out on a christmas party, ended up here for drinks as we weren't prepared to wait in a queue at other venues. You cant match the atmosphere of an ole school pub! Dont change!

The Liden Arms

The Best Pub In Liden, good prices, great beer, the best pint of 3s in the area, toilets are clean as is the pub and the staff are always friendly and welcoming.

Greggs

Foods always nice and hot. Shop always well laid out clean and tidy . Above all staff always very friendly and helpful a credit to Greggs.Parking: Plenty of parking.

The Wine Bar - Highworth

My favourite place to have a quiet pint on the weekend, fantastic atmosphere! Lovely staff! Both make for a lovely bar. And on Sundays there is FREE cheese and crackers!!
