It may look tired, but the food was excellent ? and the staff was very friendly.

Visited these place after years still amazing, great host warm welcome by the lady and her son. Excellent and delicious food. All you can eat amazing value for price and all made fresh on order. Food portion and taste made on request so food cant get wasted. My kids enjoyed and loved the food. Will recommend to everyone to visit and will be visiting again for sure.

Crispy duck was deep fried, greasy old oil taste. Crispy seaweed was way too salty. Crispy beef had an orange colour and strange taste. Chow mein very very oily and salty, too much soy! Prawn toast and prawn crackers were good. Overall most went in the bin!

I must say from the outside I wasn't sure if the restaurant was open, on entry I was still not sure if I was in a Chinese restaurant !, it was quite souless in appearance, but with all that aside the food was fantastic & there was plenty of it, the service was also friendly &efficient !. I wouldn't hesitate to go again.

I typically order online from here. Always great food, arrives hot and the wait isn't too long

Amazing value for money, hence 5 stars. Made everything extra spicy for us upon request and were really accommodating with our order. Lovely staff, and good food. The crispy chicken (55d) is really tasty and the barbecue spare ribs were also a real highlight. Special fried rice packed full of stuff and seaweed and spring rolls were great. Will definitely come back again - I paid £25 for all of this including delivery!!!

I was so looking forward to dining here. I’d taken a taxi from my hotel and paid a £15 fayre. When I arrived the place looked in a little darkness, it certainly wasn’t screaming we’re open! I walked in, and to my horror it was like walking into a school dining room with the bright lights, no music, no atmosphere, no customers, no staff, just a bundle of toys in a corner. As my title says, absolutely soulless, and dare I say, clueless as well.

I have used Connies for years, they have always had a great reputation. Their cooked to order food (all you can eat) is amazing, the atmosphere is great, and the chef and his son are really hospitable. Recommend visiting, we will be going back there tomorrow for a group meal!

Been going to Connies for over 20 years for family celebrations. After last night's visit I won't be going back. Food was great (apart from prawn salt and pepper) but the waiter was very unprofessional. Sarcastic and rude would best sum it up. Sad really as it was the best Chinese food in old town. The waitress was excellent so perhaps the waiter could learn some tips ;)

Without doubt the best Chinese food in Swindon. Have visited twice in the last couple of months and have never been disappointed. The staff are excellent! Looking forward to coming back!
