We had just an amazing evening here. We hadn't booked, but despite there being a large party in, were able to get a table for the 3 of us on Saturday evening. The staff were fantastic, service was really good too and the food was just what we were looking for. Can highly recommend this restaurant, and the baked mushroom starter !

Took 2 hours and I had called after one hour and the food was ready. It then took another hour until it was delivered and was stone cold. What was delivered was the most disgusting looking thing I've every seen and I'm not saying this because of my experience, I got fully refunded by uber eats but generally I'm worried for the health of anyone eating their food. What was suppose to be chicken pasta looked like sewage. Weird colour, the top was just flooded in a weird brown watery substance that was almost half a pint glass worth and when I had a look around I found a hair in the middle.. I'm not a picky eater and I hate waste but that was a product of nightmares. Or something you only see in a movie. If you care about your health. Don't eat their food..

Hey guys I don’t usually write reviews but I thought this needed to be shared. I just ordered food timing was good, food on the other hand was not. I had the sea food risotto which was bland watery slop, with hard chunks of fish. The garlic bread had obviously been microwaved. I’d recommend getting a different chef or some pointers from the other Italian restaurants in the area on how to cook sea food risotto. The mixed cheese cured meats were fine, but you don’t have to cook that.
Hands down the best restaurant in Swindon for perfectly cooked, proper pasta! ? I haven't tasted such good pasta since last visiting my cousin and family in Sorrento. Such good value too, with very generous portions and a warm friendly Italian welcome. 100% recommend.

We organised a 50th birthday get together for over 30 guests here recently. My husband's favourite Italian Restaurant! They were super organised, no mistakes with the meals and having to prepare, cook and serve a 3 course meal for everyone, they were fantastic with the service! Food arrived freshly cooked and hot. Nothing was too much trouble. We will always go to Gaetano's for a special occasion because the food is delicious! The only thing I regret is not taking any photos, but go there yourself as you will not be disappointed! We are even contemplating booking near Christmas time. Thank you Carlo, his wife and son. See you again soon.Parking: Park in the car park by BBC Wiltshire Radio. Cheap as chips after 6pm.
