Very noisy in one area, as Six nations rugby was playing, as expected. Great to support and celebrate. Not issue, at all, but very, very loud screaming and awful swearing, by one lady.As always, a great friendly pub, staff attentive, but this time, the above issue was becoming a bit of an issue and not just with us. Fortunately, the match finished, and all came quiet again. Would recommend as a general rule just a slight moan about this particular visit .

My 1st time in here, I often walk past as I have extreme anxiety, but I went in and I was really glad that I did. Nice atmosphere, nice pint or two too. My dog was happy in there.

Terrible pub. I couldn't even rate it. It has gone such down hill since new landlord started. Turned into a drug pub. Rude staff. And never feel welcome. Being barred for a reason which was not my fault. Choosing favourites as that's where you get your gear from. Pathetic in my eyes. All I can say is ashamed on how it's turned out to be. I will never step back in the pub again

What do you want from a pub?Great atmosphere, friendly staff, good ale, clean premises, this gem of a pub is 4 for 4.The landlord (and lady) went out of their way to welcome us, (jumping behind the bar on his night off).

A great and spacious pub with a good selection of reasonably priced beers. The staff have always been really welcoming, professional and efficient.
Personally not for me as I dont like TV screens everywhere but appreciate many people come for the Sports on TV so fair enough.
