Fantastic. Been here before a few years ago. Foods great. Good portions, very hot and reasonable price. Staff were excellent and attentive. Awesome ?

Fabulous steak cooked to perfection for my husband and Beef Stroganoff for me, both absolutely delicious. Service was friendly and attentive, can't ask for anything more, can't wait to return.

Had a team evening meal, was a great experience, the meal was very nice, it maybe a small restaurant but it makes up with great service and food, I would book again in the future.

Another lovely meal at La Carbonara. It’s a little more expensive than some of the others in Swindon but they have an extensive menu and they don’t restrict you to a 2 hour slot like many others do on a Friday/Saturday night. Staff are friendly, food is good and we happily sat and caught up with family for 3 hours. Great evening.

Lovely food. Children's portions still a bit big but just as nice. Thoroughly recommend.

When we first entered the restaurant, one of the polite waiters greeted us and sat us down at a nice table and were promptly served. The food we ordered were served in good portions, and was delicious. All the waiters were really friendly towards us and made us feel like we were a long time customer. This was a very present experience with great tasting food.

Having read the reviews and seen pics on Tripadvisor my son and husband ordered squid, unfortunately it was more like Lidl frozen squid, was very doughy and had little squid for nearly £10 a starter it was very disappointing. The main calzone and linguine (with three meatballs) was adequate. I had seabass and vegetables which was okay however the potatoes seemed to have been deep fried multiple times and left to go soggy. X5 adults (no wine, one driver, a non-drinker) and a child who we brought our own squash the bill Inc tip was slightly under £200. This was the first and the last time we will be coming here as our normal Italian we've been going to for over 30 years (Fabios) wasn't open and as we were celebrating a specific event chose this restaurant for a change. We eat out monthly and are happy to pay if the quality of food is good which it certainly wasn't on this occasion. Having eaten out earlier in the month at the Greek Olive (X5 adult and child again) the contrast was night and day - very fresh perfectly cooked food for 3/4 of the price (with wine), I'm afraid La Carbonara isn't in the same league.

As always, an amazing meal at a wonderful restaurant!! Food was delicious and staff were welcoming as always. Amazing evening with incredible food. Unfortunately we had another customer being incredibly rude to the staff, after turning up drunk, despite being told we had children present - however the staff dealt with this incredibly well, keeping calm and professional - despite the horrible verbal attack from the customer. Attached is photos of the customer who verbally attacked everyone in the restaurant.

Absolutely gorgeous as usual! (Visited on 16th aug 2022 at 6:30-8:30) Food was amazing, the staff are so friendly and always make us feel welcomed and so happy after we leave! If you see a Karen’s review of this place. IGNORE IT. she was disgustingly rude to the incredible staff over a jug of water! And she decided to shout in front of the whole restaurant- what an embarrassment to her friends! WE LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE AND COULD NEVER FAULT IT!! The only restaurant we go to for special occasions and even just for a Tuesday night dinner!! Love you guys! Stay happy From Oliver and Beth! (We’ll see you soon)

Fell out of love with our favourite Italian so tried La Carbonara on Friday night and was very impressed. Didn’t have to much to earn tbh but the quality of food will have us returning. I had a multi cheese pizza with blue cheese source base and it was lush, my wife had Calzone and we shared a side of chips which was enough for both of us. Only negative was they only had the regular Italian Peroni on tap which is always expensive and not the best in my opinion but next I’ll ask what bottled beer they do as the Peroni is over £6 a pint. A loud group of lads ruined the atmosphere a bit but not the restaurant’s fault. Great staff and excellent food.

Favourite restaurant ever, the food was so delicious(especially the spaghetti bolognaise)the staff was so nice but the ic cream had these hard let’s say rocks that you could chew and swallow but apart from that I love the place

Nice place. Started with Bruschetta. Tasty and plentiful but tomatoes do need to be soft and ripe. Main course was fettuccine pollo crema which was nice. Chicken and mushrooms in a creamy sauce. Please get rid of the diced chicken as it's synonymous with frozen catering. Make it special with sliced or shredded chicken breast. The tiramisu was superb. Apparently made on the premises. Very generous portion and well received. Nice meal and inexpensive... pleasant and helpful staff.
