Incredibly tasty food with great gluten free options. Excellent wine list. All staff really friendly, especially Thiago who went above and beyond. Really passionate about his job and all things Spanish/Portuguese.Highly recommend this lovely restaurant and will definitely return when back in Swindon.Dietary restrictions: Expansive gluten free options

Called in on Sunday while visiting Swindon 25th for our first taste of tapas dining. Food was excellent and staff very friendly and knowledgeable, helped us make some informed choices that suited our tastes. Great value for money and would definitely eat there

We held our wedding reception here. The staff were brilliant, spending time with us before hand to make sure the day went smoothly. The food was excellent and made the day a stress free and really enjoyable occasion.Vegetarian options: There is a whole separate menu, which even the meat eaters in our party were choosing from!

We visited Los Gatos without a reservation and the staff where very helpful with finding us a table. We had bread and alioli to start with accompanied by nice pint of cold Estrella to wash it down with, exactly what you want in a spanish restaurant! The Tapas dishes were fresh and tasty, particularly the fillet steak and the baby squid, but ofcourse the potatas bravas was fantastic too. 5/5 we would recommend to others and we look forward to visiting again soon.

We were seated quickly by the window and was given time to examine the menu. Having visited many years ago, it was good to see that despite the move to bigger premises, the intimate and cosy atmosphere still remains. Firm favourites are also still onmenu - aubergine chips and mushrooms in cream! These were delicious and I could have seconds and thirds of these. The specials included steak served with polenta chips and langoustines served with garlic butter. The steak was described as average with the polenta chips rated higher than the steak. The langoustines, however, were very good.It is recommended that 3 - 4 dishes are ordered per person. We ordered 3 each, including bread and olives, and for lunch, this was about right. Total was just under £58, including two non-alcoholic drinks and one coffee.Definitely would recommend reserving a table as it can get very, very busy, especially in the evenings.

Sadly standards have dropped and charm and character lost.It has been a while since we have visited Los Gatos, certainly before their new ownership and extension were completed. We were somewhat disappointed in our most recent visit. The restaurant lacked the ‘charm and character’ which the previously smaller venue had maintained. The service was slow, with over 45 minutes waited for additional tapas dishes to arrive (some guests were considering pudding at this point!!). The dishes were underwhelming from previous experiences - mussels were over salted with the accompanying sauce too heavy and overwhelming, gambas and mushrooms were only lukewarm when arriving straight from the kitchen.I am not in a rush to return and think we will try Tapas Del Mundo round the corner next time…

We arrived and the place was cold, asked if heating was on ,they said yes, we had to keep our coats on, good start. Ordered food, 6 items, meatballs in a spicy sauce 2 squid 2 prawns, paella, spicy meatballs were bland, sauce no better, prawns was nothing special, paella was all stooge, with a lump of chicken on the top which was dried up. Squid was ok . Everything was dissapointing, will no be returning.

Really nice tapas.

Great authentic Spanish Tapas. And they do fresh Churros on a Saturday morning. Best to phone ahead though so as not to be disappointed as sometimes they don't have the Churros available.
