Waiting staff were great. But the food was not good, especially considering the price point. Sent 1 very over done/cremated fillet back and had another which was meant to be medium but was more rare than medium. Very expensive for poor quality

We booked late and were accommodated and well looked after - the steaks we all ordered were perfect for us (some may have thought the med-rare was on the rare side but for us perfect!!)

Service was fantastic. Plenty of time to choose, not rushed either at the start or end. My sons 18th and they brought out a happy birthday shortbread at the end without us making them aware.

Booked a family "Sunday lunch". Easy to find, outside a little need for a tidy up, however, inside was kept to a very high standard. Met quickly and seated straight away. All staff were excellent and special mention to Charlotte our server who was polite, efficient and a pleasure to meet.Parking: Register your car when going into the restaurant and it is free for customers

Steak was full of gristle and waitress saw me trying to cut my rare cooked steak and it was full of gristle and said the most ludicrous thing . She said I should have asked for medium as this makes the skin softer to cut but I ordered rare and this makes the steak tuff .

From start to finish the service was great, we had a very friendly waitress with good sense of humour (my husbands abit of a joker) she talked me through my steak options (I know very little about steak) which was very helpful and it tasted amazing 10/10 my husbands on the other hand not as great unfortunately it was not the steak he asked for (wanted ribeye and got sirloin) and wanted it medium and got it very well done our waitress couldn't apologise enough and did knock some off the bill for this which we was greatfull for. It's ashame he didn't get to enjoy his food like I did but would still visit again

You can't go wrong with Miller and Carter. So much so, I visited twice in one week ?The setting is lovely. Really nice dining atmosphere. You don't feel rushed or pressured to order as soon as you sit down.The server comes up introduces themselves and leaves you to it.Drinks flow pretty quickly once you order and always get served together.The menu is explained fully and they also educate on the cut and preferred way of serving each steak, which if you're new to M&C is really helpful.The food is incredible. Served hot and again with the rest of your party's food. Believe me when I say, you get plenty for your money. So don't be put off by the price of the menu. They will always package anything you don't eat so you can take it home.Once dinner and desserts are served and eaten. Again, you're left alone to catch up and take your time over more drinks until you're ready to leave.I always enjoyed my visits to this branch. I only wish I could remember the servers names so I could compliment them, but no matter who you speak to, they're all very friendly and always speak with a smile.I know I will definitely be visiting again. Not just this branch, but other also.

I don't understand why this place is appealing to people. I've been twice and been incredibly disappointed twice. I had been given a cold steak, and a starter that had 8 prawns in it and the manager didn't care at all, said "the kitchen pre make that starter".When you're paying £30+ per head it's an insult, don't recommend this place at all, save your money and pallet and go somewhere else.
