Amazing food with incredible service. The food we ordered was very tasty and plentiful. We even had lots to take home with us.The lady we had helping us with our food, and drinks, was so friendly, attentive, and warm. She made us feel very welcome in the restaurant. Can’t fault the food or service, we had a great experience.

If you like delicious food and a cultural experience, I think you will love this restaurant. I shared a mixed platter that had about eight different dishes. Each dish had different seasonings from mild to spicy hot and all were so tasty. The Eritrean beer, Asmara, was also nice. Many healthful vegetarian options of beans, peas, or lentils, also delicious dishes with lamb or chicken. You eat using injera bread, which is gluten-free, instead of cutlery. The outside doesn’t look like much, but the atmosphere inside is nice and our server was lovely and warm.My only suggestion is that I recommend that they add hand wipes or warm towels for your fingers before and after the meal (but of course you can just wash up in the restroom).Vegetarian options: Stews made of lentils, chick peas, dried peas, cabbage or spinach all with different and delicious spices.

Great vegetarian options and lovely Etheopian beverages to chose from
The lady who served me was so welcoming and friendly. First time trying East African food. The lady recommended the lovely chicken dish with a boiled egg. This was lovely and full of flavour. But the surprise dish for me was the lentil dish she recommended for my partner. This was my favourite. So many flavours and lovely spice. Anyone thinking of trying Ethiopian food this is the place. It will open your horizons in trying other cultures foods. Next time I’m up I’ll be coming back.

Everthing was good except for the food I ordered. Its a beef dish called Shekla which is sliced meat with onions. The meat was hard, dry and very little, not worth £12.Hope the restaurant will improve on this because we had to throw the beef away.
