Thanks to all at Ruchi for a great meal and excellent service. Today is my wife's birthday so I treated her to dinner at her choice of restaurant and she picked Ruchi as we haven't been for a while. We arrived at around 5:15 so it was fairly quiet and plenty of tables. The staff were polite and friendly and service was fast. we both opted for Chicken tikka starters and enjoyed them very much. I had chicken tikka biryani and my wife chose chicken tikka pasanda with mushroom rice. everything arrived quickly, was well cooked and hot on arrival. The food was very well presented and very tasty. Chicken tikka biryani is my go-to curry I have had it many times in many places and I have to say this was the best I have had in a long time. We both really enjoyed our meal and can't wait to go back for more.

After a run of very tasty takeaways we took the opportunity to pop in personally on 10th January, first customers in at 17:00 sharp. The staff member was very welcoming, beckoning us in and getting us seated in a nice warm spot. Pappadums were promptly delivered with a selection of pickles, they do a particularly tasty mint sauce, drinks swiftly followed. We opted to skip the starters, though we're both fond of their prawn patia we've learned our limitations. Onion rice for me, mushroom rice for my wife, Garlic Chilli Chicken all round, garlic naan for me and a plain naan for my wife. The timing of the mains delivery was spot on and we were left the pickles (and offered a top up!!) Rice was bang on for flavour with none of that wateriness you can sometimes get, the Garlic Chilli Chicken is probably the best we've had for a long, long time, an additional bowl of chillies were delivered, nice touch, then, just in case, a bowl of yoghurt was also delivered. The naans are really, really good. Crisp bottomed, fluffy and flavoursome. As additional staff arrived they all took the time to greet us and the level of attention they gave was just right. Then additional 'on the house' drinks arrived which we bravely managed to consume. The bill was extremely reasonable and we were offered a complimentary liqueur which we declined being more than comfortably full. We enjoyed the experience very much and will be back, Thank you to all at Ruchi.

Have had takeaways delivered from Ruchi, always hot and delivered promptly. As we where in town decided to try the restaurant to see what it was like as a sit down. Same excellent food with welcoming and friendly service. Nothing too much trouble when looking after you. Would recommend to sit in as a night out or for a cheeky takeaway to enjoy at home.
We found the food very average unfortunately ? food didn't appear fresh and was not very flavourful. Nice team though and delivery was fast.

Excellent Bread! We sat next to the fish tank and pondered the curious turtle. My friends enjoyed free shots on the house, but I did not partake in them. The curry was good, there was no homous, but I reiterate, the bread was excellent.
