Understand the bar pub has had issues previously with their grill so unable to offer their full menu but this is was made clear and only impacted a few items and understand this has now been resolved!I had the chicken katsu which was delicious and my partner had the steak pie which he loved. Always friendly staff when i visit and a good atmosphere

Absolutely shocking. Turned up on a match and ordered food and drinks to the table.Still waiting. Tried to get a refund. Ended up getting fraudulent payments out my account. Never got refund. Avoid at all costs.

Meals are good value for the price paid. Today the quality was good, chips were crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. The only thing that let it down was the wait of approx 30 mins, but would go back again as the wait may have been due to things not known about.

Had lunch with friends, was busy for midday. Food was OK. Felt sorry for member of staff on his own at the bar. Was very busy but he was Amazing and dealt with it professionally.

A massive thank you to Annabel , Joseph, Lori, Chelsie, Richard , Tyler, Corbin , Hayley ,Tom and Hallie. We as a family had a lovely Christmas Day lunch the staff were fantastic very attentive and we really enjoyed the meal. Over the festive period we met up with other family members and friends. We were made so welcome, even with challenges with the kitchen equipment ( not staff related ) the team were so professional and welcoming. They are a credit to Greene King . Finally the icing on the cake was the entertainment on New Year’s Eve. Joseph was great he had us all up on the dance floor. Really looking forward to more great nights in the Merlin during 2024 ???
