2 Stars for the 'Easter egg hunt' purely because it was a free event. Great that they organised this for the community as a 'free' event however what was on offer was severely disappointing. The View itself seems very nice and a good place to go for a drink. The vendors were a mix of cash only (which was not advertised) or card and very lacklustre. They consisted of a hotdog cart, a candy floss stall, a prize stall and a crepe van. The use of the bouncy castle and climbing frame, which were extremely dirty, was £10 a head! Astronomical prices. And the donkey rides were a health and safety nightmare in my opinion, walking them a short route up and down a poorly tarmacked road.I must admit, I cannot comment on the Easter egg hunt; as I didn't hang around long enough. I left after seeing the state/price of the bouncy castle and looking at the donkey route.Fantastic that it is 'free' (By free they mean free entry, to do anything you have to pay). The PR/Social media around it was great and well presented. The day its self, in my opinion, lacked a lot.

Super venue and great food. Me and my family have just returned back from the view and just to say what a wonderful free event. They have just relaunched Sunday roasts and ours were delicious, really good value and great service. Thanks again, we look forward to returning again soon!

I attended with my family today on a rainy day and had a lovely breakfast. Food was yummy and well cooked and presented. The staff were attentive and welcoming. The place was very busy, due to the weather and the wonderful views. However the staff did warn thst the food might take some time to come due to demand. As it was such a nice atmosphere we did not mind. Would visit again if in the area. Well done team for an amazing service today.

Food was amazing, the staff were lovely and helped with my unusual allergy. Nicely decorated with comfortable seating however they had football on quite loud and with the high ceiling it gets quite noisy. The afternoon tea we had was delicious however, the scones were particularly

Popped in for a cup of tea after hearing about it. We are new to the area but would certainly come back. Really nice vibe, well decorated, friendly staff. Well priced drinks. Even on a Sunday morning it was just a nice place to be.

Complete time wasters. Organised to book me 3 weeks in advance for an event. Was messaging and emailing constantly to the point I had to organise the event for them and even contact other artists to organise. Then, less than 48hr before payment message me to say the set is cancelled, completely avoid any payment when asked for standard 50% fee cost. Ignored by management, ignored by accounts. Avoid this business at all costs.Usually have sets every weekend and they wasted my weekend availability and about £500 of my time.

Great venue for a private function, but it was very cold. Also, hard to find as the signeage is really poor.

We were there for a private function. The buffet was provided by family. The room we had was spacious, well kept and looked lovely for the Baby Reveal Party. The bar was well stocked and the staff extreamly kind and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. We had a wonderful time. In a relaxed atmosphere.Parking: Plenty of room on this day.Kid-friendliness: Definately child friendly and plenty of room in the function room for wheelchairs. Plenty of parking spaces.Wheelchair accessibility: Very good. Plenty of room in the function room.

Turned up for a 'free entry family fun day' event expecting to pay for each ride individually....turned around and left as it was £10 per head entry. Absolute joke. Badly advertised. People were arriving and quickly leaving in droves.

Held a family 90th birthday private party and everything was spot on. Beautifully decorated private room with garden access perfect for children and dogs. Friendly and helpful staff made our afternoon tea celebrations perfect. Thoroughly recommend.
