Beautiful modern country pub with amazing food. Family ran with a lovely welcoming atmosphere. Took my 8 year old who was made at home and loved the children’s menu. The food is high quality, beautifully presented. 100% recommendations and will be returning!

A really lovely Christmas meal. Booked for 2 off the Christmas set menu and it was delicious. We had to pre-order our dishes and we were worried it would be a conveyor belt in-and-out but it was the opposite and we enjoyed the courses at perfect intervals. The food itself was delicious, one of the best meals out I’ve had in a long time; fresh, tasty, local produce, very generous portions. Will definitely be coming back in the new year
Another great restaurant experience. Starter of beetroot salad was zinging, got the taste buds going ready for the main course. My pigeon breast starter was delicious. Would have preferred a little pinker but my fault for not mentioning it. The delivery was perfect, as was the accompaning risotto. Duck main was delicious, with braised red cabbage, I had the venison, which was generous, perfectly cooked, a great sauce with big garden peas. We agreed next time we would swap dishes after tasting each others! The kitchen knows how to deliver great plates of food, fresh, flavoursome, and expertly cooked. We're not novices at eating out and can say that this cooking needs to be recognised at the highest level.

Sunday lunch at The Bell and Cross, excellent as always. Pork Belly was beautiful as was the roast lamb and the salmon and crayfish risotto. Desserts were just as good. I would recommend the Bell and Cross to anyone who wants a great meal.

Incredible food and an outstanding atmosphere at the Greek themed night at the B&C. From food to decor to music, everything was themed fantastically. So much food we had to share a dessert (which when it arrived we wished we had ordered two of!) and even had extra to take home in boxes.
