Another great restaurant experience. Starter of beetroot salad was zinging, got the taste buds going ready for the main course. My pigeon breast starter was delicious. Would have preferred a little pinker but my fault for not mentioning it. The delivery was perfect, as was the accompaning risotto. Duck main was delicious, with braised red cabbage, I had the venison, which was generous, perfectly cooked, a great sauce with big garden peas. We had a fantastic meal. The food was freshly cooked, very tasty and portions were generous. The service was friendly and attentive in warm and welcoming surroundings. Will definitely be returning soon.

A really lovely Christmas meal. Booked for 2 off the Christmas set menu and it was delicious. We had to pre-order our dishes and we were worried it would be a conveyor belt in-and-out but it was the opposite and we enjoyed the courses at perfect intervals. The food itself was delicious, one of the best meals out I’ve had in a long time; fresh, tasty, local produce, very generous portions. Will definitely be coming back in the new year
