We had 2 more enjoyable B&B stays at The Bell with our cats in late August and early September en route to and from our holiday in Somerset. On the return , we had dinner for the first time - the smoked salon starters were delicious and plentiful, the fish & chip main courses were to die for and 100% better quality and presentation than those which are available in nearby Broadway!

Popped into the Bell after a short walk in the blazing sun with my dog. Super friendly service in a wonderful little pub. Pip (the spaniel) enjoyed the bar area and treats.

We did use the bell and it was a really nice place to be. The menu was so tasty. It did change ownership and I did hear it was still worth staying, or even just for a meal.

Was a base for starting & ending our walk. After the walk we sat outside for a drink & some food. Overall, it was a fantastic experience in a wonderful village.

Very unwelcoming, not really a pub as such, more of a ‘fancy’ food place, dogs and walkers not welcome.

Sadly not a good visit. The room wasn’t ready on arrival, the childrens bed was made without a duvet cover, the room was very dusty, the key that opened the main door also opened the room and there was no lock on the inside so felt very unsafe all night, and the bed is advertised as a super king but is only a double. Finally the price agreed on the telephone before booking was £107, initially on check out was charged £180!!! When I questioned it, it was immediately reduced to £120, when I said I was going to go away and check with my Dad who made the booking and agreed they would ring me later for payment - appears they just put through the payment of £120 without confirming with me. I said it’s advertised on other websites for £107, apparently this is ‘false advertising’ and so I have had to take the issue up with my bank. Disappointing stay.

Having read previous reviews, I booked a table with trepidation. No need to worry. We turned up with our dog and Dylan our waiter immediately gave our dog some water and then looked after us superbly! Attentive, informative and thoroughly helpful from start to finish and the food was homemade and delicious. Five stars …. Will be back. Thank you muchly ?
