Guiting Power, CheltenhamThis place definitely lives up to the hype. We had a gorgeous Sunday roast. Everything was cooked to perfection. The Cotswolds lager was crisp and went down a treat. Lovely interior - cosy but chic. Wish we lived closer so we could visit again

Dormy House
Willersey Hill, BroadwayAs a return visitor to Dormy House, I wanted to first of all call out the amazing team, from reception to waiting staff to spa therapists, who are just consistently wonderful and helpful with everything. From the minute you walk in, the welcome is warm and the service thorough and thoughtful.
Although the spa would benefit from a larger or second sauna replacing the underused 'snow shower', I think the facilities are great. Wet areas are nicely designed and clean, treatments are excellent and the spa cafe is a great hangout spot.
I do feel the need to call out that I and others I spoke to felt having kids in the spa doesn't really fit the luxury positioning of Dormy House. We were particularly conscious of this due to the extended School Holiday spa access hours for kids which were obviously not welcomed: Although there were very few parents with kids in the pool area, this does truthfully change the tone from rest and relaxation to high energy chaos for all other guests without kids - the majority of customers for the hotel.
With other offerings like The Fish on the estate with more of a family friendly positioning, we felt a little kids pool there and going adult-only at Dormy would be a big improvement! If we found an alternatively like Dormy with a great restaurant and spa offering but with a strict no kids policy, that might well make us move to book there instead to be honest...
Finally, unfortunately we had bad sleep in the room we were given due to the exterior door it was next to not closing properly and banging all night. Luckily staff were amazing about this the next morning and upgraded us to a much better room the following night - and we are sure the issue has since been fixed.

Snowshill, BroadwayWalking our way through the area and stopped in for a few pints and lunch before going on our way. Highly recommend if you’re walking to/from Broadway to stop here! The cask ales were fantastic and we had a great carrot and coriander soup with a panini!

The broadbean, 39e Kennel Ln, BroadwayVery good food. Tasty dishes. If you like different dishes that have great tastes this is the place. Lots of unique dishes that are wonderful. Wish we could come back but we are traveling, hiking so we will have to plan a trip back in the future.

32 High St, BroadwayWent to No32 for breakfast on our way in to visit Broadway. Staff were really friendly, the coffee was great and we both had the Baked Eggs which were excellent. Definitely recommend and would visit again when we're back on Broadway.

47 High St, BroadwayTues 24/3. We had a latte, hot choc, cheese scone and (I’m told) the first slice of a freshly baked Easter cake. All very delicious and great value for money. Easter cake especially tasty ❤️.

6 The Green, BroadwayA bloody good burger, and great selection of sides. Asked for crispy bacon and they delivered - burgers cooked to perfection. Wipes the floor with the much pricier Lygon Arms Grill up the road! Highly recommended for an informal yet delicious bite to eat.

28 High St, BroadwayBroadway is one of my favourite places to visit chocolate box cottages it seems idyllic except that I have to go home. Great place to visit step back in time why not visit Chipping Camden and many other places nearby the Cotswolds. Enjoy from pubs to restaurants to just breathing in the fresh air.

The Mount Inn Stanton
High St, Stanton, BroadwayLovely pub with a great atmosphere. We stopped by after a walk and enjoyed a beer and some chips - both delicious. The service was friendly too. We're going to try to come in for a roast on a Sunday when we have an opportunity.

2 The Green, BroadwayDelicious food (got a hearty steak pie) and friendly staff! Best part is it's in a cool old tavern with exposed beams if you eat in the restaurant area (opposed to the bar). Great experience for visitors and reasonable prices/portions.

Farncombe House, Farncombe, BroadwayAll the staff at the front and kitchen took our dairy allergy very seriously. They gave us a customised menu that lists all dairy free dishes, which was amazing and it never happened to us at any other hotels or restaurants before. As we dined several times for breakfast and dinner during our hotel stay, the staff checked with each other each time to be very sure that our dishes remained dairy free. They made mushed custom-made dinners and breakfast with no dairy-allergen for our baby. We really appreciated this as baby could eat fresh meals during our stay (not the usual back-up baby food pouches). Thank you so much for looking after us!

The Bell Inn
Main St, Willersey, BroadwayCalled here on Wednesday 25th June for a meal. We were visiting Auto Sleeper with our motorhome for some repairs.
Lovely pub full of charm and character. The opposite to the other pub in village which we had visited the day before only to be told they were no longer serving food despite their website saying different and all their signage outside.
The landlady was lovely as was the fish and chips Barry had and my chicken dish.
Dogs were welcomed with water and a biscuit. If this was my local, I would frequent but we come from Lincoln.

Crown & Trumpet Inn
14 Church St, BroadwayA great pub in the old style. Excellent beer served by friendly staff. The food is hearty and traditional (variety of pies, etc) and none the worse for it. The building is ancient and the seats could do with a refresh but it all seems to add to the charm. Can't think of many places I'd rather be on a cold winter's day than by the fire in The Crown And Trumpet with a pint of local beer and good friends.

Russell's Fish & Chips
20a High St, BroadwayEasily the best fish and chips we’ve eaten. Delicious, fresh and refillable chips. The curry sauce is a must! Thanks for the fantastic service. Despite being on the pricey side, it’s worth it! They are also licensed so you can enjoy your favorite beer, larger or cider with your meal. Will definitely visit again.
