Lovely little place. Could not fault food. Took a while to come but but worth it.

A country pub that allows dogs in but doesn't allow muddy boots. That's a first for me. We were (quite abruptly) asked to remove boots and order drinks in our socks. We decided to retire to the garden where we could keep our footwear on. When we ordered hot drinks we were told "no, we're not serving drinks to the garden"The barman then asked what it was we wanted. We explained some coffees and hot chocolate for the children. We were then advised (again abruptly) that they don't do things like hot chocolate. Again a first for a country pub.Very unwelcoming and get the impression they don't want children on their premises.

Excellent Sunday Lunch. A warm welcome with great service. Well worth a visit, the best Sunday Lunch ever. Would love to know how she makes her gravy too. Delicious ?

Polite friendly staff, lovely atmosphere and great food.Parking: The carparks aren't big enough and not well lit in the evenings. I went for the Christmas event and couldn't get parked so I missed out.

We went here for Sunday lunch in November. There were a few people in when we arrived at 12:30, but it was much busier when we left at about 2pm. One of us had roast pork (we could have had roast beef as an alternative) whilst the other had a chicken burger. Both were excellent, served quickly and hot. There was also a a good selection of puddings available. The cost was not unreasonable and we would go there again if we in Broadway on another occasion.

Nice pub , quite large but never the less pleasant. The staff were very helpful and polite even stoking the coal fire on a cold evening even though the pub was quiet. Could imagine it being a good place to come when it was busier, probably a really good atmosphere.

Great family meal, had the mixed roast dinner, not on the menu but they happily have us both pork and beef! Super tasty!

We booked a night at The Horse & Hound and were very impressed . Staff were all lovely and very helpful and friendly. Our room was beautiful , furnishings were lovely , bed very comfortable and linen lovely, good quality biscuits , complimentary soaps ,shampoo etc , nice touches ..we had evening meal in hotel which was faultless , freshly cooked and tasting homemade and breakfast next morning was equally delicious ..Won't hesitate to book again ,thank you so much ..Parking: No parking at actual hotel but only 2 minute walk to 24hour carpark felt safe leaving car there

Made to feel very welcome on arrival. The kitchen was close to finishing but the staff were more than happy to take a late order. We both had pie and chips bothe pies were fantastic with crispy pastry and rasty fillings. All the staff were very friendly.

Welcoming, cosy pub. Sat outside on the raised, covered decking on a sunny day and it's lovely. Everyone so friendly, lots of great dogs, lots of great beer.

Had such a great weekend in Broadway! We visited the horse & hound on Saturday & Sunday for drinks & to watch the rugby which was on all weekend! Place was busy on Sunday….everyone was enjoying themselves! We were therefore shocked to see that the pub closes at 7pm they turned away at least 6 people in 5 mins…we did ask why & we were told they had been on their feet since 8am! Having worked in hospitality…I was quite shocked cos long hrs in this industry is pretty much standard! & especially in the current financial crisis I would have thought all extra customers would b greatly appreciated!! I totally understand in quieter months that closing early is the best option but surely during busier times a few extra hrs would b financially beneficial to the landlord!

No comment about the B&B because we didn’t stay overnight. Had a great break Saturday and Sunday night in the village on a whole superb. Stopped in the Horse & Hounds for a beer which was pleasant but they shut at 7pm !!! Being a business owner although not on the hospitality sector surely this is not good business. Just as we were leaving 3 other couples (tourists) were turned away ?!!! Come on H&H a bit more effort needed certainly from the leader !!!!! Disappointing end to a great couple of days…….

Burgers at £15.95 are SO NOT WORTH IT! Feels like a tourist rip-off. No Menus on tables, or at Bar either - should be a BAD sign!!Shame, had so looked forward to the re-visit on WED23rdAUG23.Questions met with a shrug from behind the bar are NEVER a good sign either.
