As an Indian, this restaurant serves the most non-Indian Indian food ever. The food is below average at best, with minimalistic flavours and hard meat. Would not recommend.

We have used this takeaway for 10 years wouldn't go anywhere else, tasty food and good prices, and it's delivered by friendly drivers, if you do have a problem they will sort it straight away not that there's many maybe one in 10 years !

Myself and majority of our friends have always used Anakali as our go to Indian takeaway. 99% of the time it’s great but recently it has arrived cold or missing something and they always correct it! They did offer our next meal free but have never taken them up on their offer because we have had so many nice meals from them. This time i rang to say our food was cold and was told to speak to the owner who told me i was wrong in so many ways! I mentioned we were told previously we would be entitled to a free meal that we had never claimed because we had been loyal customers, he automatically went on the attack and said what time and who did i speak to…this was months ago and didn’t think i needed to take note of the person on the end of the phone that was so genuine! The owner then went on to to tell me i had made 2 complaints about food being cold and what proof did i have… i didn’t need proof nor did i want my meal for free, his attitude was disgraceful! The owner then continued to say his online system sends it straight through to the kitchen so there was no way our food was cold (he’s not eating it i am)…it was cold! I then said well if you have an online system you can see myself and family have ordered from you regularly! I was then told he knows how to run his business and doesn’t need to be told…well if your charging money for cold food you do! It’s fair to say the owner is one of the rudest person i have ever spoken to in my life! Apparently he keeps a record of complaints…i think not! The owner is the rudest person i have ever spoken to, coming from a hospitality background he needs some education! Coming from a person who used to rave about how you served your pakoras in a bag instead of a foil box so they don’t sweat your curry and pakoras are now bland and soggy!

Ive been a customer of the anakali for more years than i wish to remember and have always said the best in Bromsgrove,not sure if they're now under new ownership but tonights meal was absolutely appalling. The balti mix had about 4 pieces of meat and was bulked out with onion and tomato cold and tasteless.chips were too big soggy and cold.Naan bread was cold if it had been a sit down meal the whole lot would of gone back instead it went straight in the bin . The only positive was the popperdoms but to be fair you can't get those wrong can you?It's a good job they don't do minus stars

I’ve just had a chicken tikka vindaloo and egg fried rice with cheese and onion naan bread and it was absolutely delicious amazing I love this takeaway the people are so friendly and the food is amazing I would recommend this to anyone well good food and good price too I’ve used this takeaway for years not often because I’m only passing through but can’t fault them ten out of ten ❤️?️?️?️ just went back this amazing place and the food was delicious really enjoyed I love this takeaway food is always cooked perfectly and the people are just so friendly won’t be long hopefully for my next visit only passing through but wish I was passing through more to eat this beautiful food thanks all at Anarkari for very nice meal really enjoyed see you soon ????
Unbelievable value and best I've had since I've Bern in bromsgrove. Also was good enough to call to tell me the didn't have the drink I ordered instead of just replacing it. Very impressed even the delivery driver was a nice bloke, sorry if my dog scared you lol

RIP OFF!!! always check the prices before paying. had a menu through the door last week, called to place an order for delivery. when I came off the phone I checked the price as it seemed a lot for what I ordered...upon checking the prices they'd over charged me by £11.75, when I called to query it the chap said I'll refund you £2, I said no you've overcharged me by £11.75 so I want to cancel my order and have a full refund.
