Had chips from here overcooked and seemed like they was warmed up from lunchtime awful and must have put the whole of the salt on them tasted awful overpriced rubbish will not be using this shop

I bought a small cone of chips I know it absolutely is mad. How prices are rising everywhere but for this chip shop to charge me £3 for a small tray of chips does not justify anything. Nothing special about the food. Just standard chips I think the place is ripping people . If they charge me, £2.30 or £2.50. Okay that’s fine £3 overpriced

I go there every 2 weeks with my Dad who owns the wine cabin it has very good fish and chips u have to try the gravy and chips as it’s to die for.Dietary restrictions: They are very clear of any allergies and tell us when needed

I walked out lastnight after waiting 10 minutes without even a word from a member of staff . The staff are so rude the manageress is no manager as she was on duty but allowed this level of none service. Two other people walked out too.

First time visiting this chippy, I must say it was the most delicious chippy I have had in all my 30 years, it was clean, no usual batter in my food, which means they must look after their fryers. No burnt or saggy looking chips, service was great inside. And great amazing deals.As Arnold would say, I'll be back.
Used to love this place for lunch, never, ever any issues. Today I bought Pie and Chips, the pies were round the back, and had to be heated in the microwave, fair enough. Went away and started to eat my pie and chip's, well, the pie crust was as hard a rock, I've even got sore gums. It's obviously been under the heat lamp for days. For £6.80 guys you need to much better. I'm done with Ideal Fish & Chips, because it's less than ideal.

Shocking food, I ordered cheese and chips not know it was just cheese sauce in the microwave warmed up. The burger is deep fried and the bun was warmed up in microwave. If you can’t cook a burger on a grill it is not a burger. Go somewhere else for food. Also says it open till 10 but at 9.40 they do not want to cook for you. Stay away

Last July I gave this place a five star rating. Following my last two visits I feel bound to update my recent experiences. The chips have been dry, hard and over cooked while the once wonderful fish has also been overcooked with crusty hard batter, probably due to too much time spent being kept warm. This is not good enough and does not warrant the high cost of a fish supper. I fear this place has joined the numerous fish and chip shops in Bromsgrove that have become inconsistent. I doubt we will return soon.
