Our first time here for around 10 years and it was a little disappointing. The downstairs is pleasant enough unlike the upstairs which has no atmosphere at all but the food is mediocre at best . The squid starter was very bland and cooked in what appeared to be chip shop batter , the mixed seafood could have come from Farm Foods and all mains were a little too hot to compensate for a lack of flavour. It will be at least another 10 years before we return.

Starter and main food no way near Thai foodWe ordered starter and two main mealsStarter was squid with onion rings.Absolutly awfull taste, cooked in very old oil and very oily. I think squid was even fresh, all frozen.My wife tried 2 Sticks and I one and we asked to sent back.I thought we havent complain at all with doors, sometimes it doesnt happen to make it.We waited for mains.We had chef special fish and my Green Curry with sea food.Fish was cooked also in very old oil, like fish and chips style and they add masaman souce.It was ok but nothing special, no way near some other thai restaurants do the same meal.My green curry was horrible and no way near green Currys, you get 100 times better meal form Morrisons .Well , I said sometimes happens, but worse about it, owners came around and we explain how food was awfull and she brought full receipt I gave to pay, we had half starter and i only taste source of Green curry as I dont like it.We have explain for ages how the food is not thai restaurant, I know you can call it.We have plenty other thai restaurants around and we dine there, we even been i Thailand. And we love thai food.I didnt want to pay for Green curry and starter but she still asked us to pay for starter or Green curry as option.I said i will pay fort starter and rest but not Green curry, but you definetly not having us back.Owner very rudeMy sugestion if you love Thai food dont go there.

Good selection of lunch menu set with reasonable portion and price. You get to choose one starter and one main. Good food and good ambience. Service was good.
Just had another good meal here . Can't fault it .

I was looking forward to my Thai meal with my Thai daughter in law but we left a little disappointed.The older lady that served us seemed grumpy and pushy for us to order .The meal was not as good as the last time we visited .I went to the toilet and on my return my tai daughter in law seemed upset , she said the same lady was pushing her to finish and leave the table . My daughter in law asked if she needed the table but apparently not . We were going to stay for a sweet but we felt we should leave .We didnt understand as the restaurant was not busy .Shame .Kid-friendliness: Nice comfy high chair on arrival

The staff don't know what's on the menu or even what's included in your meal. And uf you want a drink, best to look what's in the shelf yourself because the menu is well out if date and staff are under knowledged.
