Food in great. Service impeccable. Prices are reasonable. Venue is nice although can get quite loud due to low ceilings and small rooms. Very cosy thou. We will be back. ??

Lovely restaurant serving classic French cuisine in cosy countryside village decor. Ample choice on the menu, with many daily specials. The dishes were very well executed and service traditionally formal. Large portion sizes for all dishes ordered, making three courses perhaps a little much in terms of quantity. Very enjoyable experience.

Perfection.Superb menu, well executed. Several daily specials in addition to a varied menu. Service was outstanding too. Lovely ambience, traditional decor and in a pretty village.

This place has amazing food. However they don’t like people who dine alone. Can’t get a booking for a table for one at all. Hence the 3 star. It’s unfair for travelling customers who maybe alone.

Food was exceptional as expected, attention to detail was a bit disappointing unused glasses left on the table, food stains on the wall next to our table

Fantastic …….I’ll give them five stars because I can’t give them Ten. Warm friendly at the same time professional staff….every time. Not my first visit and each time I’ve been it’s been the same experience. Quality well prepared food and at a very sensible price ……not really sure how they do it but an A1 experience.

First class dining in Ombersley, how lucky we are to live close to visit regularly and enjoy the excellent food and company.

Am amazed that the Venture In Restaurant has not been awarded the Michelin stars rating it truly deserves. This is the best restaurant in the area. I do however miss the traditional white table cloths?

This is a high quality restaurant with attentive staff. It is suitable for a special celebration of quiet dinner. There is a fixed price menu for around £60 with plenty, or even too much, choice. Canapes came first followed by amazing bread rolls with 2 types of butter - delicious. The lobster starter, with supplement, was sublime but I found the scallops rather ordinary and lacking taste. Fillet steak was tender and served with interesting vegetables although I felt the need to include mouthwatering braised steak on the plate a bit of overkill detracting from the main course. The strawberry dessert was served in a large quantity with the crumble base being a little too thick for comfort. However the fresh strawberries drowning in sauce that surrounded that base were unusual and very tasty. None of our party of 4 managed to finish the desserts. The bill came to around £90 each (including service) and this could be reduced by avoiding cocktails and choosing a cheaper wine. The only criticism here is that this restaurant tries too hard and less may be more. You will certainly have a great meal here.

My wife treated me to dinner for my birthday, wonderful food, excellent service, fantastic value. Booked for next week ?

A pleasant lunch. The food is good and nicely cooked though, to my mind, a little old-fashioned with LOTS of things on the plate. The 'special' starter of squab pigeon was delicious. Service is polite, but we had to ask 3 times for the wine we'd ordered with the mains.
