An impromptu visit today for breakfast, advertised as part of the local farmer's Annual tractor run ? ???A wonderful collection of tractors old and new on display, with a fabulous buffet English Breakfast to follow.Great value for quality food.

Warm welcome, contacted us and checked on booking from the moment we booked on line. 12 in our group and we were all catered for. Vegetarian, Gluten Free was accommodated for. Great staff that were very friendly. They didn’t even mind that 3 of our party are musicians and decided to play their piano and have a sing song around it, so gave other customers some entertainment for 10 minutes. They cater well with disabled people, which can be a problem in some places. Highly recommended this place, might feel out in the sticks but totally worth the journey

Really solid carvery for a good price. It's worth calling ahead as they sometimes have large coach parties in.

Hi there, I went to the Wheelbarrow& Castle last night with my Dad. From the getgo the staff were friendly, polite, and fantastic ? we ordered the gammon which was all hot and perfection chips peas particularly the gammon hot perfection ??????

Excellent Sunday carvery at reasonable price. Declined pudding otherwise might not have made walk back. Bar area allows dogs but limited tables available . Booking advised for Sundays or special events otherwise walk-ins usually fine (i was told) Clean & well presented. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Booked a table here for our anniversary on arrival our booking was cancelled which I questioned. And was told we were an hour late, they had booked us a time of 12pm when I asked for a 1pm booking. Then found us a table and told us we had to leave by 2pm! Will never use this place again, and the brown haired girl and blonde manager I would presume your customer service skills are lacking. The customer is always right and i do not expect to receive short abrupt questions when it is YOU that has taken the incorrect booking time.Mediocre food, had a lot better for a lot less cost and nicer atmosphere. ?
