Held my grandmother wake here recently after her funeral at Westhall park a mile away. Rob and his staff couldn't of done a better job, it really did make that sad day go so much easier for us as a family. Food was great and nothing was a problem for this great team. Thanks
This is a lovely little pub with a brilliant choice of drinks and the staff are beyond brilliant, Emma is a fabulous person to have behind the bar heart of the pubRooms: Clean , warm and comfortable beds

What a find this a really interesting place. Very old with original features Fab service rooms good beds so comfy, fresh cooked breakfast, sausage was amazing from local butcher Rob was so helpful even provided exactly what my friend usually has for breakfast. Dinner good too fish was melt in the mouth would go back thoroughly recommend
