We visited on Good Friday 8 people, we had carvery & burger meals it was excellent. Good choice of veg & meat. The portions of meat were very good. Beef was so tender. Staff were very friendly & helpful. Had a problem with the draught drinks but did their best to resolve. Been before & will go again. Well worth a visit. 3 courses for £15 excellent value.

Value for money has always been the biggest highlight here, along with the incredible quality of food! Our waiter Callum was courteous, friendly but not overly, and very attentive. Best service!

we went for a carvery last Friday and it was absolutely freezing in there we all decided to keep our coats on. We waited for about 15 minutes at our table and still no one came to take our drinks order so we assumed it was bar service then when we got to the bar we were told someone would come and take our order! We decided to order drinks and the attitude form the girl behind the bar was atrocious I believe her name was Lily as I heard another staff member call her over, no smile on her face whatsoever and seemed very slobbish. People like her are what ruins pubs reputations!

Had two of my lads stay with me on a short but grateful stay and was recommended the plough. The food and service was amazing and we were blown away by the price,at least I was as it was dad's treat. Well done all at the plough ?

OMG absolutely incredible breakfast today those sausages are to die for. Lovely set up everything looks amazing even the toilets are crystal clear clean me and the boy really enjoyed the food and I can't believe the price it's so cheap for the quality of food. Will definitely be back asap and will be trying out the Sunday roast dinner can't wait ???♥️

Visited with ex army colleague who had visited before.I was extremely impressed with everything,When we arrived the car park was packed along with the Restaurant, however a table was free and the service was excellent. Did not have to wait very long to be served and the food was exceptional. I cannot believe the price we paid for a 3 course meal £12 each, however we upgraded to the fillet steak for an extra £8 each. Best value meal for £20 I've come across. Cannot be faultedParking: Although restaurant looked packed there was plenty of parking

Absolutely fantastic. Great friendly staff and meals are incredible value for money and really good quality. 3 course meals for £12 a head. A roaring log fire was perfect on a snowy day. Really recommended.Wheelchair accessibility: Disabled parking space next to the front door

Great food great atmosphere and a great price.Carvery was excellent, with a good choice.Only thing I would say is it could have been a little hotter.Great selection of sweets, again great value, I had the apple lattice and custard. Unfortunately could have done with being hotter.Great place, will definitely return
