Been to the pub many times. After an 18 month gap stayed overnight at the nearby travelodge to return for a few beers. What has happened to a great pub? There used to be a bar full of ales to select from, not now. In fact the Timothy Taylors Landlord was on the edge of going off but drinkable. The wall by the bar offered food including pork pie with salad or cobs, nothing available other than bags of snacks "that's the only choice" we were told. The pub always used to be busy and we had a whole room to ourselves with one person in the other room and one person outside with a dog. The website said opens at 12 yet the board by the door said 4. We left and bought our own food and bottle of wine at Tesco 5 minutes away. Sadly our last visit.

Have not been in...my wife and friend enter..I can't walk so sit in car and listen to live music.on Sundays..Good little pub..beer and food.If you like ,live music take a visit... my honest opinion...Kenneth

Great little pub. Shame the local neighbours keep moaning about the noise and music. Dont live by a pub then. Different ciders go down way to easy.
Fab little pub, great staff and a really impressive range of drinks. My new personal favourite is a locally produced cider which is only available here. Great cobs and pork pie!
