Great people and great

We hadn't planned to stay overnight while helping a friend for an extra day, so we booked a room & it worked out great. There's a gorgeous pub opposite the hotel where you can relax with a drink or enjoy a meal. Perfect combo.

Another good Travelodge in a very convenient location with parking.Nearby activities: Pub in same carpark. Park close by for walks. Canal close by as well. Quick walk into town

Great value, nice sized rooms, heated well on cold nights, tea and coffee included, plenty of hot water, friendly staff, offered us a second door key, we were given a phone number if there was any issues getting in late at night (didn’t need it but nice to know you wouldn’t be locked out). Plenty of spaces for car park and there’s a road outside if there’s no spaces. The only negative thing would be a large old stain on the mattress looked disgusting so I’m surprised they don’t put zip up waterproof covers on their mattresses.

Staff very pleasant and welcoming. Room comfortable and clean. A little bit of outside noise at times but that may depend on where rooms are, and it didn't really bother me. I'd stay here again, for sure. ?

I had a very nice time at this Travelodge. Only a short 20 minute walk from the Severn Valley Railway. After getting all the way back home I realised I accidentally left a treasured possession of mine, in the room I stayed in. Fortunately the hotel staff saved this possession and with their help I had it posted back home safe and sound. Very helpful staff, especially in being able to speak to them directly on the phone.

Overall this Travelodge is pretty good - service ar the front desk was great and very welcoming. The rooms were as expected but they do need a couple of modern touches like a USB plug for example. Given the proximity to roads and a pub, air conditioning would be a good addition so as windows can be kept closed. But this said, the rooms were clean and tidy. Not the easiest place to get to if on foot from Kidderminster station - requires some rather sketchy feeling and poorly lit subways and footpaths to get there but easily accessible by road. All in all, it’s a good Travelodge and I would happily stay there again.Rooms: Rooms are basic but functional - all en-suiteNearby activities: This is a short walk from the Severn Valley Railway where you can ride heritage steam and diesel trains. Kidderminster Carpet museum is also nearby.Walkability: About a 15 minute walk from the train station but the route requires subways and footpaths which are not well litFood & drinks: No on site offerings, but there is a pub on the opposite side of the car park.

The room smelled of something foul not sure what it was, the walls are paper thin can hear people walking around in their rooms. Room was hot and difficult to sleep, couldn't leave windows open as it was too noisy outside. There is minimal signal where this place is so bear that in mind if you are looking to use the internet. Short term stay is ok for 1-2 nights. The breakfast is not good value for money.
