Absolutely vile experience, ordered large cod and chips, haddock and chips,large battered sausage, curry sauce and onion rings.Both the haddock and cod were over battered and cold, chips on both were cold, over cooked and greasy same with the onion rings, cold greasy and looked as if they had been assaulted by a hammer before being served, and too top it all off was mega expensive at 47.50 for the above order.This isn't the first time we have had a bad experience with this fish and chips shop but will definitely be the lastWill not be visiting here again and would recommend to anyone to avoid

Really expensive and awful food. Mixed kebab meat n chips £8.50p and chicken was disgusting and slimy and I found a hair in it and the after taste was vile like hairspray. ???Parking: Parking across that road and back of shops
Phoned up for a collection order, was told 20 mins which was fine. However, when we got it home, it looked like it had been ready for ages - ordered large fish (cod) but got a measly small piece of fish which I suspect wasn't Cod, batter was cold, greasy and overcooked. Ordered large Doner Kebab with salad, but got doner meat - again cold, the southern fried chicken was slightly warm, but again looked like it had been ready for a while. Chips were ok, but almost cold. The best thing was the steak and kidney pie, but cant go far wrong with heating that up. Such a shame, it used to be a fab little place with good fresh, hot food.

Very expensive £27.30 for two mini cod & small chips, plus one large cod, standard chips & small mushy peas. It was a 25 minute wait after I'd paid & was not worth the money or the wait. The batter was very thick & soggy, mushy peas very dry, chips were ok, as was the fish which is why I gave 2 ⭐ instead of 1. Thelads working there were all pleasant & busy but that seemed to be with "just eat" orders. Will not be returning & wouldn't recommend. Wish I'd gone to McDonalds or KFC at least you know what you're getting.
