Chips were a little under done but tasted lovely despite this. Gluten free cod had a perfect batter and was well cooked. Owner was extremely friendly and there was no problem with ordering via telephone, We collected our order within 30 mins and packaging was clearly labeled with gluten free. Always liked this place - the reviews seem pretty polarised as they're all either 1 star or 5 - guess it's a marmite thing.It's true that things can be a little dry if you catch them at the wrong time of day but generally speaking the food is really nice, in my opinion.It used to be that Rectory Road was the only real game in town, but they went down-hill a while back for whatever reason and there's no way I'd chose them over Inn Plaice any more, unless a bag of soggy mush is...read full review
