One of our favourite pubs for good dining out. Food delicious. Steak cooked perfectly. Every bite was tasty. Service a little slow which not a problem normally but the family birthday party with a young toddler and 2 older children, was horribly noisy. We wanted to eat and go adapt. Couldn't hear the music, just banging of wood on wood and toddler screaming (enjoying himself). Unseated in a self created play area and roaming around other diners and under staff feet. We should have walked out with hindsight, 2 1/2 hours of loud unacceptable noise. Go to family pubs or control your children. Utterly selfish actions and they seem to enjoy the disruption they were creating/actually they may have been oblivious! Even the family leaving (thank heaven for that) and saying good bye was prolonged and noisy. Other groups of eaters were clearly affected too. Parents were totally oblivious and ignored the noise /chaos. I have no problem with families dining out but this by far the worst ever. Staff were in very difficult position however a quiet word with the parents about the disruptive behaviour wouldn't have gone amiss. If this did happen it didn't work. And' please do not return with the poor toddler', on the way out. We should all have been offered a free return meal or money off our bill. We certainly won't be back any time soon unfortunately.

Absolutely incredible food and such lovely staff! One of the best restaurants by far especially at Christmas time - the decor is gorgeous! Cannot even begin to describe how amazing the pigs in blankets are either!

First visit to the Brook was an enjoyable one, waited for our table to become ready in the bar area! Food was very good and the service was efficient and friendly, looking forward to a return visit and have recommended to friends

Arrived a few minutes early at 3.15pm for our 3.30pm booking. Very warm welcome from blonde waitress at bar. Very quickly seated by dark haired waitress with glasses who wasn't very friendly from the start. Pub was fairly busy on arrival but soon became fairly quiet, perhaps explaining our tail end of service poor experience. Wine list had to be chased as didn't arrive. Drinks also had to be chased. Service to actually place our order had to be chased as we were seemingly abandoned after asking for a few minutes to chose our meals after being asked for our order only a couple of minutes after arrival. Further service had to be chased from our "dead zone" later in the meal. These were details only, very annoying but par for the course these days sadly. The main and more significant issue was the quality of the roast beef. Tough to the point that you could not cut it. Also delivered not as requested in terms of cooking so lots of back and forth to get our meat cooked as we had asked. Numerous veg were cold or luke warm. Several yorkshire pudding way beyond crisp to the point of being burnt. Excessive salt on majority of veg. Manageress arrived fairly quickly and was initially responsive but the experience at this stage was already hugely spoiled. Replacement food was much better but by that stage we had been put off the whole lunch and to reflect this were offered 2 glasses of wine and a portion of custard to compliment our dessert! This place has been unreliable since the start of the Giles ownership. The family attitude to customers is poor. We asked for the manager to review the bill to reflect the poor experience and ended up being passed a phone to talk to the manager who had gone home. This some 3 hours after we entered the pub due to the awful experience we had encoiuntered.

We (3 adults with good appetites) had the October lunchtime offer £15 for two courses. Choice of 3 starters and 3 mains - each starter was excellent but can only comment on the one main (chicken, leek and bacon pie), top notch. The service was excellent, the beer well kept, the only downside was not having enough room for dessert. Best pub food we’ve had for years.

Have been twice in a week! Lovely cosy pub, great menu and the food was exceptional! Such a friendly place to visit, tucked away but perfect for any occasion or just because you can! Found it on Instagram, it doesn’t disappoint!

Our group of 6 enjoyed an early evening dinner on. Saturday evening late in September. I selected the ribs as a starter, the fish and chips for a main course and sticky toffee treacle pudding for dessert. All very good, prepared and presented to a high standard. Would recommend.

Good quality food, somewhat overpriced. They hardly satisfy an appetite unless you order additional vegetables, but they don't tell you this when they take your order.

Wow! What a great night. I went for the new event they put on which was “Tunes and Tapas”. They had a live signer which was amazing and great atmosphere. We ordered tapas dishes which were all presented lovely and great tasting. The service was also very good, waitresses very tentative asking if we needed any more drinks etc. All in all, great service, great food and great atmosphere. Will definitely be back again.

This place is really very, very nice indeed.and a complete surprise. Just a five minute drive from where I live (I didn't even know about it until quite recently), this beautiful country pub and restaurant is ideal for a Summers evening dinner or to relax with a drink on the terrace. My wife and I spent a very chill couple of hours here over dinner in what was one of the best restaurants I've come across in Worcestershire. A well thought out modern menu concentrating on local and sustainably sourced ingredients, compliments and enhances perfectly the "vibe' and ethos of the place, nice job. Despite the fact that it must have been 28 degrees in the main dining area it was all expertly and calmly delivered by efficient and enthusiastic smiley staff. Highlights for me were the spicy pulled lamb burger which was stunningly good - one of the best burgers I've eaten, and the truffle oil chips. Don't think for one minute this is just a burger joint, the extensive menu includes fresh fish of the day, dry aged steaks, as well as an assortment of vegan and vegetarian options. It was quite busy for a Thursday evening so I would recommend booking which can be easily done through the website. It was the perfect location for us in beautiful surroundings, all sensibly priced, with plenty of parking, it ticked all the boxes. Yeah, fantastic!

We were a table of 16 and booked in for 7pm. First time visit to this place, really nice decor and vibe on entering. We were shown to our table and the drinks order was taken and delivered to us quickly. The waitress who took our order was fab and nothing was too much trouble and she answered our numerous questions and accommodated our requests. When the starters arrived, what can I say….. WOW ! Everyone’s food looked and tasted amazing. Staff were great at offering and getting us drinks throughout our meal. Mains came and all I can say is that everyone was again delighted with the presentation and taste. The chef was incredible, to be able to produce that high level of food for so many people along with the rest of the diners that were in too. In summary, incredible food, fantastic staff, great looking pub with fantastic decor and atmosphere. 100% will be back, thank you so much. The owners should be very proud of their venue and team.

We arrived at 19.20. When we were seated it took 20 minutes for someone to take our order. When we could finally get the attention of a waitress, she said ‘I can take your order now but there will be a delay as there is a table of 16’, instantly making us feel like a burden. She took our order and it was then a 50 minute wait to just get our bread. Following that, it wasn’t until 21.00 that we finally received our mains. The youngest waitress was the only member of staff to acknowledge the delay or apologise for it, with the manager not to be seen. There was no accountability. Additionally, when I asked for water, I did not receive it until I asked a second time about 20 minutes later. I must note that I asked the younger waitress and she got it for us immediately. Throughout the meal we were ignored by all but one member of staff. If I ever looked over to try and get someone’s attention they just turned the other way. When we received the bill we were surprised to see that nothing has been deducted from it. It was insulting. My partner spoke to the manager at the end of the meal to complain about the wait times and the manager would not stop arguing back with him. We have never complained before and felt very awkward doing it. He very politely and calmly explained the issue with the wait times, which she obviously was aware of. She, however, continually argued back with him and said she could only take the bread off the bill. She also blamed him for not having complained about the wait times during the meal, which was extremely unreasonable as it was such a large wait time that there was no possible way she could have been unaware of it. Ultimately, it was a shame because the food was actually very nice, but we were constantly made to feel like a burden by majority of the staff and the manager’s terrible attitude really left a sour note. It was the opposite of a relaxing meal and we went home feeling stressed! If the owner of the restaurant does read this, please know that the waitress with blonde hair and braces was lovely and was the only member of staff that made us feel acknowledged.
