Food is always good. Friendly staff. The downside is it's always cold in the restaurant. Heating has not been on last twice we have eaten there.

Upon arrival late afternoon no one at hotel reception despite calling on phone provided on reception desk … after looking for a member of staff after 10 minutes wait, found a disgruntled gentleman who proceeded to the desk barely said a word to us other than providing info that was needed. Dispute the hotel appearing quite empty me were pointed to our room at the far end of the building. The corridors were dark, tired looking and a smell of damp and carpets covered in stains. The room itself was very clean so can’t fault the housekeeping staff. However the room too smelled damp and was cold with no way of switching radiator on. Bed comfortable and clean. Dinner that evening in the restaurant (which was almost empty on a Saturday evening) was acceptable but very expensive for what we had (£15 simple for a salad) 2 meals and 2 beers was almost £50 for very average meal. Breakfast was ok. Staff were pleasant and attentive which was to be expected as the place was empty. Very tired hotel with no atmosphere. Wouldn’t stay there again.

Stourport Manor Hotel is situated in a rural location and within easy reach of the M5. We ate in the restaurant here using a Groupon voucher. The staff were friendly and took our order in a timely manner. I tried their own Stourport Manor lager which I enjoyed. The food was cooked well, piping hot and presented nicely. We were happy with the Groupon deal which was two courses and a drink each for two people. The Fish and chips I had was cooked well with a delicious tartare sauce, the other main dish we had was a Cajun burger which was also good. There were other choices such as Butter Chicken, Mushroom risotto, Moussaka, pizza and Gnocchi. For dessert I chose raspberry frangipane with raspberry sorbet which I recommend, there was also apple crumble which was good. Enjoy!

Rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable, these are my main priorities when staying in a hotel. The food was okay but maybe a little pricey for the portion size and quality. There did appear to be an unpleasant odour walking down the corridor towards my room which was a little off-putting. The carpets and decor are perhaps a little tired but not enough to stop me staying here again.Rooms: Spacious and clean with very large double bed. Bath and shower which the pressure was quite poor however my colleagues said there's was good. The location makes for a quiet and peaceful stay. The floorboards were very creaky when walking around.

A fabulous theatre and arts weekend, a very comfortable hotel, lovely pool, steam and sauna too, a little 3 ball juggling demo from me too??

Upgraded to a family room but the bath tap constantly dripped all night and when the heating came on or off, the tapping was incredibly loud. Not the best nights

the location was nice, the staff were friendly - especially poppy behind the desk and James in the spa. They were very welcoming and accommodating.however, the rooms needed to be warmer, as the heating came on at a certain time so before that it was cold!!. The walk through the hotel to the spa was long, freezing and very dirty. Hotel was old and dated, needs a lot to bring it standards. When we could drive to the side of the hotel for the other entrance to the spa, the place was full of old construction items and HUGE pot holes.there was not conditioner or soap for us to use and when we asked the lady with the trolley, she informed us that they stopped the conditioner a while back and use liquid soap instead.Rooms: not too bad but the shower was not great at was dripping through out the night and the taps were stiff, making it hard to set the temperature.Walkability: not wheelchair or walking stick friendly.Food & drinks: restaurant food was not great but the deal helped as i did not wish to pay full price for the food i had. the restaurant staff were really nice

HOTEL OF HELL!!!We booked 7 rooms for 18 people and pre-ordered dinner 6 weeks before to celebrate my 50th Birthday -The room was very bad, no water pressure to shower and the mattress was totally warn out , you could not sleep on it.The pool is charged as an extra £5 each and full of non hotel people, overcrowded no staff or lifeguard on duty. But the worst thing of all is their totally dysfunctional restaurant.Tabled booked for 7.30. They brought out starters by 7.45pm and then nothing... we waited and waited but no more food came so we complained and were told to wait , by 10.30pm we started to leave and then suddenly some food came out but it was not cooked properly (chicken was raw) so we rejected it all and left in disgust. My mum cried her heart out as the birthday weekend was ruined by the worst hotel in history. None of the men in charge could speak good English and were extremely rude. Rather then manage the situation they hid behind their poor student staff as they cowered at the back of the kitchen. The same evening a member of hotel staff was accused of molesting a young a child, the mother was furious and 6 police officers turned up to investigate the hotel staff.A 50th Birthday I will never forget.DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!DO NOT BOOK A PARTY IN THEIR RESTAURANT!!DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILDREN HERE!

We had 2 nights stay in Jan 24.Double room was clean and welcoming but some aspects, seals around bath, bath taps did not work ( only shower), USB sockets did not work.Corridors and stairwells dark and dated. Some doors looked grubby.Dissapointed with breakfast, not very hot, poor quality items on offer. Was not told before we arrived that there was a £5 per person charge to use pool. On way down corridors to pool smelt damp and musty so did not go in.

Absolutely shocked at the unhelpfulness of the new “management” I was given a voucher for afternoon tea late 2023 valid until March 2024 but because the have changed their “management” they won’t honour it! Disgusting behaviour! I’ve been to many many afternoon tea venues and normally they cannot do enough to help, this is just disgraceful and very disappointing

This is the hotel of nightmares. I planned a family party for my son’s birthday. First impressions the reception was manned by two guys who really didn’t, seem to know what they were doing. The rooms were okay although the shower and bath taps very difficult to use. Awkward to turn on or off definitely a safety issue!! I phoned in meal choices 6 weeks before. On the night we were seated by 7.45 p.m. and after about one hour the starters arrived. Very disappointing. Then the main meals didn’t appear. After numerous inquiries which met with be patient and they are coming. THREE hours later the food began to appear by this time half the party had given up and gone to bed. the staff were incredibly rude and abusive. Eventually the manager agreed we did not have to pay for non existent foods. Also my son who had already paid £20 for his dog to be in their room. Was asked for his card to be swiped for £50 in case of damage to the room. This was at length explained it was only a deposit and would be refunded when we checked out.So far no money has been returned. Also according to the website there were supposed to be spa facilities. We were disgusted to then learn an extra £5 per person was required for a very small overcrowded pool and open plan changing rooms which were a hazard to young children. This hotel should be closed down!Safety: This hotel is NOT child friendly. Police were called as a woman’s child was molested by a member of staff

If I could rate the hotel 0/5 stars I would. From someone who has stayed at many hotels and have experienced something different with each of them, I have NEVER experienced something as horrific as this “hotel”. Aside from two of the waitresses that served us and were lovely - every single member of staff should not be working in customer service. The OWNER of the hotel hid in the kitchen the entire night whilst myself and 19 other family members sat and waited for our PRE ORDERED meals for 3 HOURS! When we confronted him and asked what was going on we were greeted with shouting, swearing and nothing but disrespect. I cannot believe this hotel is under this sort of management - it should be shut down so no one else has to experience what we did. I have never left a hotel quicker and I will be spreading the word to anyone and everyone not to waste their money or time at this hotel from hell.
