The food is excellent and the beers are good and varied. The staff are all very enthusiastic and attentive and the atmosphere is friendly.Parking: It can be difficult to find parking at peak times as the pub is so popular.

Generally food is fantastic, but had the veggie bangers and mash today and it was very disappointing. Tiny portion, 3 small undercooked sausages and 60% peas. Nowhere near worth the 14 quid they charged for it.Vegetarian options: Don't get the veggie sausages. Small portion, quite boring too unfortunately. Every other option is so much better.

Food looked nice but overall not great, pizza was overcooked, loaded fries were expensive for dried out chewy cardboard. Drink prices ridiculously expensive, food not worth the price tag and to add a service charge which seemed steep did not agree with, especially when they are being paid to do a job, I wouldn't mind if the service was exceptional but it wasn't, so for the disappointing food and mediocre service we will not return. Lots of other good places to eat at same or lower price point.

We were on a trip from North to South. I found this by looking up on a site called just off the junction. Mega big portions of fish pie (delicious) which you could have shared for two. My partner had a burger which looked dry. Service is slow but it’s busy so you can understand why. We stopped for lunch.

Went for breakfast today , food was very nice but service poor . The staff are not friendly, don’t seem able to smile . Asked 3 times for sugar for coffee . Bacon was missed off full breakfast . It’s a shame because nice place and food . This is not the first time we’ve had this experience. Won’t go

Food was nice but they really should be bringing tap water to the table and refilling the small ketchup pot without having to be asked if they are going to charge an additional 10% for service. The service was ok but I do find it amusing when I'm charged American level service charges without any attempt to provide an American level of service. When you charge for service my expectations of it increase and unfortunately they weren't met.
