Everything was perfect, the menu was spot on with choice of beef, turkey or belly pork and when it was served the portions were generous without being overwhelming. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough, service, food, wine, ambience - everything was perfect. I have no reservation whatsoever in recommending The Friar Street Kitchen to you; it’s fab and very groovy.

Went for pre Christmas meet up with family. Had to book well in advance and take a 6.30pm booking but it was worth it.Had the hot cheeseboard sharing platter and it was delicious, especially the blue cheese, could have just eaten that all night!! Good portion sizes too, easily enough for 3 as a starter.Mains I had beef bourguignon with roasted new potatoes, again beautifully cooked, it just melted in your mouth. Other dishes included the Chargrilled Chicken Skillet which was apparently equally superb, succulent and very tasty. Drinks were lovely and the service was excellent, friendly, polite and very efficient without being hurried. Wasn't cheap but given the quality and provenance of the ingredients, I would say good value for money. A real gem in Worcester restaurant scene.

Came here for a Sunday roast and we were not disappointed. We were seated in a lovely area of the restaurant with plenty of space but yet still lovely and cosy with festive Christmas decor. We had the sirloin of beef and pork belly complimented by seasonal greens, red cabbage & creamed leaks with extra gravy. We also ordered the extra sides of cauliflower cheese and pigs in blankets. All arrived piping hot and beautifully presented. All the food was very indulgent. The staff were so attentive and made sure we had plenty of water and anything else the table needed. For dessert we had the white chocolate & raspberry cheese cake with clotted cream and the salted chocolate profiteroles served with cream. These desserts were divine and the whole experience was absolutely fantastic.

I have visited FSK lots of times and it never disappoints! The food has been amazing each and every time I have been. Me and my friends decided to book for the Sunday roast this time around and omg it was fabulous so tasty and great portions too. The cocktails are fabulous too! You definitely need to book to come here as it’s always so busy and when you come here you will understand why! Kate the owner is so so lovely and welcoming, definitely come here you won’t be disappointed!

Located on Friar Street, which is the old part of Worcester with beautiful Tudor style properties. This small and cosy restaurant has everything you would want, good service, delicious food at standard prices. Would highly recommend

Incredible Sunday lunch today! Although I’ve been to this restaurant many time, it was the first time for a roast dinner. My husband said it’s the best roast he’s ever had and I completely agree. Amazing food and just as wonderful service. Highly recommend as always!

Sad it wasn't all I expected.Starters were good however oil needs changing tasted old on deep fried items. Manager admitted chef got overwhelmed burgers were dreadful dry and burnt bun. If you want steak and chips, chips are extra! Chips were under cooked soggy tasteless and thst old oil taste reared it head again. To be honest I felt mains were overpriced as you had to add vegetables chips and pay extra. An old school steak dinner came with peas tomato onion rings mushrooms none as extra. It's not worth 29 pound for steak and sprinkle rocket leaves. Puddings were pleasant.
