This certainly has more of a ‘locals / regulars’ vibe and the decor could do with updating, but don’t let that put you off as it’s a friendly pub and nice enough for a drink. The open fire is great during the colder months and for catching up with the sport it’s a brilliant option. This place was okay, went in for a pint of strongbow dark fruits with a couple mates, service was satisfactory, can’t complain about the strongbow, we went to play a game on the pool table however it was damaged to the point that it wasn’t worth paying for a game, sat outside to catch up with my mates and left after 10 minutes
