“1st time here and loved it. Bit of a wait for food but that wasn't a problem as it was worth the wait. Old pub with beams and a log burner. Intimate spaces for special occasions. Huge rear garden with climbing area for the kids, plenty of outdoor seating too. Clean place, good polite staff. “Me and my friend booked a table at the Yorkshire Grey a few days ago after not being there for quite a few years. I'd already looked at the menu online and was impressed with the choice. We had a friendly welcome when we arrived and was shown to our table. Corrine came over to take our order, she was so friendly and chatty, took our order and returned later with our meals which we really enjoyed. Lovely place to go for lunch, thank you Corrine and your colleague (sorry I can't remember your name :( ) we will be back soon . Highly recommend”

“Can only comment on meal in restaurant but will probably stay on family visit to the area. Food and ambiance excellent but as is often the case, efforts of staff can also make or break the experience and the two staff members here should be valued - they could not have been more welcoming and helpful particularly to my dining guests - two discerning toddlers - on the hottest day imaginable. On the strength of this experience likely to become a favourite for family meal outings.”
