I was definitely impressed with the design of this place, very quaint and has a delightful charm to both exterior and interior. The rooms are well kept, modern and clean. Lovely shower with a large shower head which was very well received and revitalising. We had lunch here, which was nice, felt the service could be slightly improved as only one member of staff on hand as far as I could see. Went for a NYE meal with friends..food was good with a varied choice on the menu..I opted for the nut roast which was very enjoyable..Nearby activities: If staying there are lots of local places of interest to visit.

A group of 40 of us WI members went there for lunch last Thursday (4th Jan) and were unanimous this is one of the best places we have been to. Amazingly well catering for a large party, prompt service, generous portions, food and plates hot and team members around when they were needed. On leaving they were one chef down that day but we would never have known that. Truly professional. Thank you all.
