we are from doncaster visiting relatives and always come to the watering can cafe for breakfast it is gorgeous, bacon, eggs, beans, mushrooms, Tom's and crunchy hash brown all lovely but their sausages (gluten free) are brilliant, highly recommended, place is air condioned, separate area for dogs, very friendly staff, can wait to come again, till next time ?

Loved this place when it first opened. However, they’ve now decided that dogs are only allowed in a non air-conditioned area outside the main cafe. Such a shame to be segregated when the cafe is in a garden centre. The service is also painfully slow as there’s only one person serving. However, staff are lovely and food is great (I have a 5 star review before) but unfortunate that it’s not as dog friendly as before, and won’t be returning.

After my last lunchtime visit to the cafe which was disappointing I decided to try again and have breakfast, the lady who took my order was very nice, said hello and was cheerful, I ordered the watering can breakfast which I was looking forward to as I had not eaten since lunchtime the previous day. When it arrived the plate was greasy where the obliterated egg was which I had ordered 'covered' it was flattened and broken and not at all nice to look at, the bacon was also greasy and so overcooked. It looked like it had been sitting for some time and was tough to cut. Will I try a third visit ?

Staff in here are not very polite still waiting after 15 minutes for a tea spoon next time I'll bring my own

Really nice place. Lovely decor, staff were friendly, breakfast was lovely & hot. The chocolate cake though was the real highlight - truly scrumptious! Really welcoming family atmosphere.

Uncooked egg uncooked sausages such a shame won’t be back
Very pleasant, doing what they can to adjust to current problems, menu should suit most tastes, with generous portions at reasonable prices.

This coffee shop is located in a garden centre, hence it is convenient if you want to buy some plants and have a cup of coffee. Overall this is not a bad place, there again it's nothing special either. Having said that I don't want to diss this too much as I had a fine coffee and my egg on toast was good. I will be more than happy to return.

I like it here and always recommend however, today my crips were stale and a cheese toastie took so long that my coffee was cold. Normally a good shout any time of day though
