We came here for our Christmas dinner,and loved every course, food was hot and didn't have to wait long in between course's, staff were very attentive, Definitely come back again next Christmas. Well done to all staff

We visited on a Friday lunchtime and the food was nice…. When we finally got to order. There only appeared to be one girl behind the bar and she was clearly struggling to keep up with serving everyone. I had to wait a good few minutes before we could order. Our menu choices were available, however, I ordered one of the Christmas cocktails on the menu but, as the staff member couldn’t find this on the till, I swapped to having a glass of wine. Busy Friday lunch but managed to find a table, staff lovely very friendly and knowledgeable of the area and we didn’t have to wait too long for our food, however I wasn’t impressed with my steak and ale pie which is supposedly an award winner, pie was so overcooked and dry I cooked hardly cut into it, not much meat in the filling, mash was ok but not as creamy as I’d like, broccoli was nice all in all a bit of a let down ☹️
