The Rising Sun is a lovely, friendly, and welcoming village pub with a large outside area, perfect for an al fresco tipple and outside events. The pub offers various events throughout the year, from a Christmas Market to special occasions and fundraisers, as well as a monthly quiz night with a yummy cheese and charcuterie board. The Rising Sun features independent cask ales, including two supplied by the local Farr's Brewery, and a dartboard, retaining its traditional pub character.
